Quick way to upgrade the steering wheel. Original steering wheel looks awful. I got this cover and it fits my 2013 civic perfectly. Good quality and soft without being super squishy

This is a mid to high quality steering wheel cover. It fit the steering wheel of my 2021 Chevrolet Trax perfectly. It was a challenge to get it on there, but it's supposed to be. It looks great, and it provides sufficient grip. It's thick enough to be soft and comfortable, but not so thick that it's cumbersome. It appears to be sturdy enough to adequately protect the original steering wheel. Overall, this is a good value for the money.

This review is for the SEG Direct Steering Wheel Cover 14.5-15 inch (37-39 cm) Medium Size, Microfiber Leather, Non-Slip Comfortable Grip, Fits Cars, Trucks, SUVs, Black, which was selling for $16 at the time of this review - SEE MY NOTE at the end of this review. Nope, doesn't fit a 15-inch wheel in a 2002 Ford Superduty. I struggled with this thing and even got out the heat gun to try to put it on, but it just would not go. I pulled so hard I thought I was going to break the tilt in the column... it shouldn't be that difficult. I grabbed another cover on Amazon, the QLLUYTR Car Steering Wheel Cover, also rated for 14.5-15 inch wheels, and it went on fine; it was tight but not impossible like this one. It seems like the one I received would be more appropriate for a 14-inch wheel. It also does not look round when you unfold it! It looks almost like it is for a wheel that has a flat bottom, like some of the newer cars. I suspect the odd shape is partially to blame for not being able to fit it on the 15-inch wheel that I tried for 40 minutes to force it onto. If you have a 15-inch steering wheel, I can't recommend this cover at all. If you have a 14-14.5-inch wheel then it will probably be fine. NOTE - If you are not familiar with Amazon Vine, it is basically Amazon trading products for honest reviews. NOTE that the items are NOT Free because Vine Members have to pay Income Tax on the value of the item, so the product is discounted but definitely not free, more like 1/3 to 1/2 price. As such, I don't order things that I don't NEED and USE!!! This is an important distinction because it should give you more faith that my reviews are not some fake nonsense boilerplate... I USE WHAT I ORDER, and I don't hold back if something is junk because I still had to pay for it... and this program actually bumped me up to a higher tax bracket in 2025, so it definitely wasn't free!

I will forever hate applying steering wheel covers, and sadly this was no exception. I drive an old corolla with the steering wheels that basically deteriorate on their own after some time, so I wanted to apply this one for a better look. Car does look better, steering wheel feels better and softer in the hand now. Unfortunately though it took me so long to put this one, that I'm scared to take it off now... I strongly suggest leaving it out in the sun for a few hours or hitting it with a hair dryer then run to the car and apply it.

My steering wheel was getting discolored and worn, so I wanted something that would help my grip without looking cheap inside the car. The microfiber leather is softer to the touch than what was underneath, and on longer drives, my hands feel less fatigued and irritated. It doesn't feel like the surface of the sun when it's in direct sunlight; it looks great on my wheel, and I couldn't be happier with it. Installation took me about ten minutes, give or take, and warming it up first really helps it stretch out, so don't skip that step (I left mine on the dashboard in the Texas sun for about 30 minutes prior to installation). It's been snug and hasn't shifted at all since I put it on. The sizing is specific, though, so check your wheel before ordering. I have a 14" wheel, which is already impossible to find covers for, so I'm happy to say this fits perfectly! It doesn't move at all.

This is a good looking, seemingly well-made steering wheel cover that offers solid protection with tastefully understated style, underscoring the beauty of the vehicle rather than trying to embellish it. I used a heat gun on "low" since I didn't have a hair dryer, but I'm not sure if it made much difference, or if I even needed to bother. I wasn't trying to risk melting anything so I was very conservative with the heat, and the mechanics of installation called for patience and effort in equal measure. As far as tightness I think this would come down more to the material of the grip rather than the elasticized core, so I doubt the heat would have offered a meaningful advantage anyway. Upon completion of the install, I noticed that the cover was slightly off-center relative to the features of the wheel, so I pulled it part way off and adjusted it as best I could. The cover fits like a glove and is comfortable to use, although it seems a tad minimal compared to thicker covers I've had on this and other vehicles. This design in particular doesn't seem to fully wrap the wheel, but this wheel is also equipped with a factory leather overwrap. My aim in using the cover was to protect the leather, but during the install and after observing the results I'm thinking I don't really need to use a cover with this wheel, only care. This cover would work beautifully on my other F150 which, unlike this one, does not have a factory leather wrapped wheel. This pattern goes nicely with the interior appointments of the FX4 trim package, as well as my diamond patterned aftermarket center console armrest cover. I'm wondering if the company would be willing to honor their "fitment guarantee" for this cover and allow me to exchange this for a size that would fit my late father's beloved classic, which I've inherited and am tasked with preserving. I think this cover would look very nice in that car. It's an old supra with the removable roof. UPDATE 3/26/26: I did end up contacting the company, and they did ship me the cover in the size I needed for my late father's Supra. It arrived quickly, and I was able to install it on the ancient steering wheel with no trouble (and no heat gun needed). It looks great and enhances the overall driving experience by making the wheel easier and more pleasant to hold. The factory leather had dried out and cracked over the years, and this is a major improvement. The pattern on the cover also pairs well with the aftermarket seat protectors I've installed to protect the velour upholstery. This company is fantastic to deal with and the products, so far, seem to be of excellent quality. Consider me satisfied.

This black artificial leather steering wheel cover arrived in a basic envelope, tightly shrink wrapped and compressed. The packaging was so tight that it caused visible deformation in the cover. When I removed it, there were marks on the inside where the material had clearly been overstressed, leaving pressure lines in the surface. I have had the cover laying flat in a heated room for two days hoping the kinks and bends would relax, but they are still there. It has not returned to a smooth round shape. The outside surface actually feels good in hand. The texture is comfortable and has a nice grip. My concern is whether the stress marks from shipping will disappear once installed or if they are permanent reminders of how it was packed. For a product designed to protect your steering wheel and improve the look and feel, the shipping packaging should have been much better. It should have been shipped flat and round with a light foam insert inside to imitate a steering wheel and help it keep its form. Instead, it arrived flattened and strained. This was a let down. The material itself seems decent, but the careless packaging undermines the quality and presentation.

The SEG Direct Steering Wheel Cover (15.5–16 inch) offers good value for anyone wanting to upgrade the look and grip of a larger steering wheel, especially in trucks and SUVs. The quality of the microfiber leather feels durable and well-stitched, holding securely once installed and showing no signs of slipping during use. Design-wise, it’s genuinely beautiful, with a clean black finish that gives the interior a more premium look; however, the border seam around the cover feels a bit uncomfortable in hand, especially on longer drives. Ease of use is solid — installation takes some effort due to the snug fit, but that tightness helps it stay firmly in place afterward. Functionally, it improves steering grip and protects the original wheel from wear, even if the seam slightly detracts from overall comfort. Overall, this is a well-made and attractive steering wheel cover that performs well, but the edge seam keeps it from being a full five-star experience.

Fits perfectly on the steering wheel of Landrover Discovery TD5. You need very strong hands to fit it tho!
