It is glass stove top safe. On glass stove top, lift cookware-never slide- to prevent scratching.

Q: Cleaning instructions say: "use a mixture of water with lemon juice or vinegar". no other cookware state this. can dawn detergent be used, instead?

I've been using Dawn and it's fine. I think you just can't put in dishwasher.
