First one DOA, Replacement only partially works.
Ordered this thinking I could save a buck from this cheaper listing. The first one came non-functional. I even tried with new batteries. Amazon was quick to provide a replacement and I sent the unit back. One thing that was not noticed until I received the second unit was that the first was packaged differently and had less packaging material to protect from shipping and the card tray was not wrapped in a zip lock bag. It was almost like it was a previously returned product. The second unit came looking new like intended with no other customer touching it prior. The replacement came and while both sides do work which is a huge improvement. One side works much better than the other. I'm talking a 1:4 ratio. I can put 1/4 of the cards on the right side as the left and they will finish at the same time. If I put equal amounts in both sides the left side finishes as you would expect and the vast majority of what was loaded on the right is still there. I will be sending this unit back and purchasing this elsewhere. Amazon should reconsider this listing. Avoid purchasing this if you can its a waste of time. I don't have an alternative on Amazon to purchase but maybe purchase this locally and hope for better quality control.

Dead on Arrival!
There were no instructions included with the unit. I correctly installed fresh batteries that were not supplied. You are to push down the front bottom center (cheap and thin) piece of plastic to activate the card shuffling. There is no 'ON/OFF' switch- only the front bottom center plastic push piece to start the unit. I tried pushing it without cards, with cards on both sides, with cards on one side and then the other side before giving up. I checked each new battery with a voltmeter and they were all reading 1.6+ volts DC. I packaged up the unit after selecting the return option on Amazon's website, and opted for another unit (that cost more) and free UPS pickup for the defective unit first sent to me. That RETURN part went seamlessly between Amazon and UPS pickup and the unit is now on its way back to wherever it came from. Either I got a bum unit or this is just another cheap piece of crap from You Know Where! I would avoid purchasing this unit.

Hit or Miss
I purchased two of these shufflers - one for my Florida house and the other for my northern house. One of the units works like a charm. Evenly shuffles nearly every time. We love it. So we ordered the other unit. This one is a disappointment. One side doesn’t feed the cards properly, gets jammed, etc. putting pressure or weight on the poorly feeding side helps SOMETIMES but not always. One MAJOR PLUS for both units - the cards look nearly new after dozens & dozens of shuffles. No bent corners or curved & worn cards from bending while shuffling. BUT, that’s only true if you use a decent brand of cards like Bicycle. So if you’re lucky enough to get the well performing unit, you’ll LOVE it. If you get the one that leaves something to be desired, you’ll be frustrated. Either way, your cards will look like new after shuffling.

Cheapest Piece Of Crap Worst Purchase Ever
So cheaply and poorly made would not pick up a single standard Bicycle card. If one person pressed the button and another tilted up the cards on both sides of the shuffler, cards would feed. Arrived with one broken battery compartment tab and other battery door would not stay on. This is worst ever Amazon buying experience but grateful for Amazon return policy. Difficult to imagine anyone being pleased with it. Even if it worked, it could not possibly last long. I liken this to the earliest made Japanese products made right after the war. Remember when made in Japan meant junk. This is the worst product I've seen in since the late 40s. To be specific, I purchased the smallest 2 deck shuffler. It was shipped in a plastic USPS mail bag and arrived as if it had been returned by someone else. It was poorly packaged and the item box, which also was flimsy, was torn and bore damage.

Well.......
At first I thought it was working really well. It quickly turns 2 piles of cards into one pile in the center drawer. But I decided to see how well it really shuffled the cards, so I sorted them numerically into suits and shuffled them. Now, if you're dealing out cards one at a time to a bunch of players (like poker), you might not notice that many of the cards are still together since cards that players grouped together in their hands would go to various players. Indeed, you might not notice if the deck wasn't shuffled at all. But I play a game where the everyone sees all the cards face up in order every game. If groupings of 3 or 4 cards from the previous game appear together in the next game, some people could notice. I think I'm better at randomizing the cards by hand in fewer shuffles than this thing is. Even after 10 to 15 shuffles there were groups of 3-4 cards still grouped together in order.

Easy to use
I purchased this product as a gift for my BIL. Pros: compact, shuffles 2 decks. Cons: battery cover keeps falling off, very loud, cheap looking. Do I recommend this product? While doing online research, it seems there are not a lot of top brands out there and every website had this brand listed as a recommendation. And after reading all the negative reviews, I still bought it. Not sure how long it will hold up. Kind of disappointing.

Does what it's designed to do. Inexpensive, simple to use, but noisy.
Simple and inexpensive. It does what it is supposed to do, very easily. Shuffling is fast and fairly thorough, with no jams so far. But it is very noisy and the plastic moving parts don't seem very sturdy, so its longevity may be questionable. I don't know how well it would work with well used paper cards, but it seems to do a good job with all-plastic cards and paper cards in good condition.

it works.
After reviewing different automatic card shufflers I ordered this one. I had read that these machines work better if the cards face up. Not in this case they were jumping off the machine. So then I put the cards face down and it worked like a champ. My hands go numb and spasm so when shuffling I often have to do a 46 card pick up. Now I will not have that problem.
