Had my concerns, but turned out just fine!
I was a little bit nervous in ordering this because of the mix of reviews, but just received it today and I am very pleased! The fit is relaxed enough for me as I intend on wearing this for a 5K. The design was also exactly as pictured, with no distortion. I can’t comment yet on the quality of the shirt when it comes to wearing it more than once, but what I see so far with just trying it on, is it should last a few wears! Also instructions say to only hand wash and not tumble dry so that could impact the shirt’s durability as described in others reviews. I think it was worth the money in my book!

Perfect compression shirt, dreadful graphics
Ok hear me out before just looking at my low rating. Overall this is exactly the type of shirt I wanted: compression. Fits exactly as a compression short should, basically sticks to you like another layer of skin. With that said I do believe the sizing is a bit small, I ordered a medium and it felt like a size small Under Armor compression shirt (as comparison). But it was perfect still, fit wise, long enough, comfortable enough to play sports or workout in, no chafing as far as I can tell. Not sure about odor control, most of these cheap compression shirts have that problem but that's why we have washers.BUT as another reviewer mentioned with a picture - which I did not see before purchasing myself - the graphics are SUPER pixelated. The reviewer (Bill Lexington I think it was) took a pic of a brochure side by side with the shirt and it was the perfect comparison. I took pics myself but the shirt looks normal on the pics, but in person it's terrible. I don't understand how that works. It literally looks like they took a small size pic and zoomed in, then printed that zoomed-in capture on to the T-shirt. It looks terrible.I'm very disapointed cause overall the fit was perfect and it felt like it'd be a great compression shirt. But that graphics are terrible. I understand this is an overseas company just printing out crap probly without Marvel's permission, I wasn't expecting perfection, but the graphics at least on the model I got are too bad to wear. I can't say much for the other style with the shield on the back. But the style I got is without the shield, it has a brighter front, and maybe that was the problem when printing it, idk.*Hint* my first pic it looks normal. The second pic Im super close to the logo and my camera is focused but the star logo looks fuzzy. That's actually how it looks on person. One of the stock pictures shows you something similar, the one where they're zoomed-in on the star logo. It's not your phone, and it's not Amazon, it's actually HWP the short really looks. Beware!

It's a nice $18 dollar shirt!
I've seen lots of complaints about the quality of this shirt, but I think we've lost sight of the fact that this is an $18 compression shirt. Is it UnderArmor quality? Probably not. Could the graphics on the shirt fool Chris Evans? Again, probably not. But for the $18 I spent, it's good enough quality in both construction and printing. I'm quite happy with it, and in fact I went back and ordered a couple of other Aven-(cough) shirts from Red Plume as well.Sizing: I'm a guy, 5'8" and 165lbs. I went with medium. The length is right. The sleeves a tiny bit short (I'd have preferred a bit longer in the arms), but the fit is right for a compression shirt. I consider myself pretty average sized for my height and weight, and the shirt fits me well.

Great Alternative Compressions
Great fit, great colors and great feel and stretch. Sometimes, it's a hit and miss with the sizing measurements but for the most part, they should be consistent. These are not exactly like Under Armour but they come super close. Under Armour compression are a little heavier and perhaps sturdier, but these are still really good fabricated, soft, lighter, but sturdy as well. Remember that these are delicate garments just like Under Armour too. Don't let these garments pass through rough or scratchy surfaces, and I totally recommend to take a shower with them after a workout use. Use liquid soap or a bar soap and lightly lather on the important parts and rinse off, then remove them with the running shower water so that it will help slip off easier from your body and then just let hang dry with a hanger. These compression shirts dry fast and are ready to use again. I do this also for my Under Armour compressions. If you care for them, they will last you a long time.

Best Budget Alter-Ego Compression Shirt
This just arrived in the mail yesterday afternoon, I have not gotten a chance to wear it during a workout yet. One thing I would say about this product is that it is not as tight as a normal compression shirt. This shirt is form-fitting and does offer a light compression, not as tight as my black short sleeve Under Armor compression shirt. However this is more than half the price of my Under Armor shirt so I think it is a very fair compromise, hopefully it will shrink a little after a few washings. This shirt is slightly see through but because of the colors it does not show any skin underneath unless you are really looking. The colors for the shirt are amazing and they really stand out. I gave this shirt one star because it arrived earlier than expected, two stars for the price, and one star for the unique design.
