Perfect for non standard dual connector mating

These jacks do not have a sturdy feel. I would not trust them to hold in a critical connection. They work fine for my application which does not place a lot of stress on the connections. Only about 3/16" (4.5mm) can fit in without interfering with the plug being inserted. That is barely enough to get past the hold down screw. I tinned the wires before inserting them into the jack because I was not sure that I would get a good connection screwing down the multistranded wire otherwise. With a 14 gauge tinned wire, the clamping screw is not recessed into the plastic insulator which leaves the possibility for the wire to short to something like the protruding screw on the other wire for a speaker connection. I wrapped electrical tape around each protruding screw. The jack provides a snug fit for a standard banana plug inserted into it.

Gear IT send my order quickly and the plugs are just what I needed. The product descriptions were great and it was all easy to install.

I used these to make “pigtails” for my speakers that don’t have banana pin receivers. Works great! Yes, the set screws could be a bit more recessed, but I have no concerns with the way they are.

The banana receptable is too small, and does not meet tolerance standards for banana jacks. Moreover, these do not properly contain a speaker wire. As designed, they allow the wire to easily come loose, no matter how it's socketed. Don't buy these.

Need shrink tubing over set screw on female connectors

The plastic cases are very loose after tightening the screws down. They are cheap in construction. I would not recommend them for professional applications.

Missing items and tried to reorder . Sent me replacement and wants the missing items back , which are missing screws a etc. quality of product and quality control don’t seem to exist wouldn’t recommend !
