Really impressed with this vacuum. It’s lightweight, easy to use, has strong suction, and makes cleaning so much quicker. Great value

I had to return the first one of these as the plug had been bent in transit and would not plug in. I cannot fathom how Amazon's algorithm for returns works as it offered me a £5 partial refund to keep the item. It would cost me at least £20 to repair it myself since I would have to buy a proper wire stripper to remove the plug, a new plug and crimp. And it would be at least £20-£30 to get a shop to do that for me? Anyway otherwise the return was painless so I am not really complaining about that. They sent out a new one quickly and even before I had returned the faulty one. This hoover is just wonderful, exactly what I wanted. Nice and compact, and powerful all the same. It is guaranteed for 2 years so that gives me some peace of mind. I had been using a little car hoover to clean my flat but it had sort-of broken and I desperately needed to clean up. Glad I went with a mains powered unit as it is powerful, and the 1.5 litre receptacle is ample and you don't need to empty it all the time. Also the mains cable goes back into the machine when you press a button and the cable is a generous length so I can clean the whole flat via plugging it in in the hall outlet. I already have a Russell Hobbs freezer for 3 years and I am pleased with that. Since they offer a decent guarantee with their products this brand seems to still be a good one. Always better to pay a little more to stay with a decent brand than buying cheap as modern tech products can be really awful. All-in-all a great buy, very happy with it (even though the cats are not !).

Nice and light and compact hoover, very powerful motor good suction for a small hoover, done a good job hoovering my car. only problem was that i tried to retraction the plug lead back into the hoover it was a bit slow and left about 6inches of cable out it didn't all retract back into the hoover unless i pushed the rest of the cable into the hoover.

It's just fantastic. Works well, high suction, the "bag" is extremely easy to clean, build construction is solid, and it's so cheap, it's a fantastic option that if you're not looking for things like steam cleaning or something like that, this is your best choice on Amazon.

For the money this vac must be one of the best.Made a big mistake when cutting the walls for new sockets the mess was horrendous but the Russell Hobbs handled it perfectly, I was more than impressed with the design of this piece of equipment.Thanks to all at the factory who produced this amazing machine.Yours Chris Walton.

Well, this vacuum uncovered some things I have been very unaware of. I got the hoover this morning and decided to try it out on a rug that's been in my flat since I moved in. What it managed to pull out of the rug within 5 minutes was vile, I had no idea how much dust was lurking in that rug. I'm renting the place and it looks like it was pulling stuff out of the rug that must have been there since I moved in. There doesn't seem to be much need for a pet adapter either, it pulled the cat hair off the rug with no issues at all, the suction is very good on this vacuum. I tried vacuuming another rug that I have my office chair on (so it doesn't mark the wooden floor) and the rug was being lifted off the floor and dragged around because the suction was so good, I opened the airflow at the top of the hose though and that allowed it to move over the rug without issue but still picked everything up. Really impressed with this, I got it on offer when it was £45 and it's 100% definitely worth it, even at full price I'd still say it's well worth it. I have been using a tower upright vacuum, one of the ones with the small canister at the top, not a full size upright and as I have learned, that thing is pretty useless. I thought there just wasn't much dust/dirt of the rug whenever I've used it but it turns out the vacuum just didn't have enough power to get down to where the real mess was. 5/5 brilliant vacuum, it's a very simple machine so I don't see too much that would go wrong with it. If anything changes down the line then I'll update this review but at this point I would 100% recommend it for a cheap vacuum that has the power to get the job done properly.

Having had issues with cordless we opted to go back to something basic but effective. Had a look through hoovers and saw the reviews for this. We have 2 dogs, one of which is a husky - if you know, you know. For the price this is a brilliant hoover. Unlike Henry it doesn't hug every corner it finds or throw itself on the floor like Premier league footballer. Its light weight but sucks better the village bike. Cordless is a nice idea but like most things is built to break so while your midlife crisis craves a Dyson, save your money and get this!

It is really compact and small in size but powerful enough for a small house. I am pleased with it and it is ideal for a small houses! Easy to remove dust and empty the dust box.
