All Auto Meter Phantom gauges feature a bright white dial face with bold black numbering and increments for a high-contrast, high visibility display, making the Phantom series number one with racers and custom shops worldwide. Bronze bourdon tube 270 degree sweep movements and durable nylon gearing have made these rugged and long lasting gauges a proven high performance favorite for over 25 years. These mechanical gauges require no electrical power for operation making them an ideal choice for vehicles with no or low powered electrical systems. Auto Meter Boost gauge will measure pressure in either PSI or bar and manifold vacuum pressure in inches of mercury (Hg). They are commonly mounted on the dashboard, on the driver's side pillar, or in a radio slot. Review: The 1/8" tubing supplied with this gauge is really fragile-I kinked it and the gsuge didn't work. I replaced the line with 1/4" tubing and the needle vibrated and rattled over 10psi of boost. After I installed a valve in the line it settled down. Also, the green light cover doesn'tmatch the other two Autometer gauges I installed at the same time (pyrometer and electric fuel pressure). Autometer never replied to my e-mail when I wanted info on using 1/4" tubing instead of 1/8". Also, this gauge rattles (internally) when I go over bumps or drive on rough pavement. The other two gauges work perfectly and seem to be much higher quality. Of course they also cost more too,
