Pioneer DJ HDJ-CUE1 On-Ear Wired DJ Headphones, Foldable, Dark Silver

Purchased these to listen to music and sometimes mix with a digital controller and these really pack a punch in terms of the quality of sound you get. The mid-low tones are much louder and robust vs the other 2 headphones I compared these to. Those 2 headphones are suppose to be decent quality, but compared to these, they lack in sound bigtime including in the the higher tones or frequencies. I wish I purchased these sooner for DJ mixes, so lesson learned; good quality headphones a must depending on your individual goals. Unfortunately, a few negatives are they are smaller in size, but many might like this especially for females (I have a smaller head btw and thinner face to give an idea lol) -- and after wearing them for a couple hours I do find they hurt my ears due to their tightness for sound isolation. Not good if you will be wearing them for several hours and not able to take breaks. Breaks do help me, so not that big of a deal in my case. The cord also seems a little cheap to me (noticed this when inserting the cord into the headphone's jack) and the cord is not as long as I'd like (I don't think there are longer replacement cords?), but still okay overall. I could have left one star off, but I decided not too, because the pros outweigh the cons imo. Hope this helps! : )

I bought obviously for dj usages and already did a small test and put it up against my old but still functioning customize sony mdr v700 and a sennheiser hd 25 . And this is my verdict, first all headphones are great. - The cue1 sounds more bass punchy for my taste but tolerable, mids and highs sounds a little bit flat and in the lower end But not bad. Great construction and looks like heavy duty gear. And they are incredibly comfortable and lightweight. Good on ear headphones - against the sony mdr v700. The sony has for me better mid-highs and the bass is not as punchy but sounds in a perfect sweet spot. But they are heavy and not as robust as some newer headphones still they are great over the ear headphones and a good classic earpiece also repairable. - against the sennheiser hd 25 This are one of the most standards dj on ear headphones in the market right now. They sound great all across the board and all frequency are on point but are alot more expensive. but the cue1 doesn't have to Envy them on nothing with it's highly customizable parts and detachable cable are a good advantage agaist the Sennheiser. Although they sound quite different in there frequencies both are highly workable in my opinion Hope this was a good review for those that are considering buying this headphones Lets see how do they behave in the long run especially there durability

Great earphones crystal clear sound love these earphones if you like your music with deep bass energy and crystal clear vocals and highs these phones are my pick i can put these phones one to do my music reviews and hot mixes and a couple of times a week go to the clubs with the best sounding systems and dont disturb a living sole they will take you there and be okay the next session highly recommended to all the dee days playing modern house music.

The materials used are what you'd expect from a very cheap set of over ear headphones. They're very light, usually more expensive gear is heavier, it's both a good and bad thing. The overall design is okay, it's just the materials holding it together aren't the best, so the way things stretch and bend feel like a low end product. The size is regular for a mid size over ear headphone. The sound quality isn't great, but it's decent, and it gets loud enough. So you're probably asking yourself, then why the 5 star rating? I have been a DJ for over 20 years and was in the market for a new set of headphones. I could have spent the normal amount 180-220 price range I would normally spend on some headphones, but decided to give this a try. I usually buy Pioneer headphones, so I didn't really hesitate after seeing the price and description. It actually exceeded my expectations. Even though they feel really cheap (because they are), they very much do what I need them to do for DJing purposes. I don't expect them to last forever, as they never do. But if these last a while, they are a less expensive maintenence cost as a DJ. Futhermore, the people that complain about the cushion falling apart, that happens with all the brands I've seen. I've noticed it happens with really sweaty people.

Although the audio sounds incredible in abelton & on my ddj-flx4... As you wear them for a long period of time they start to hurt your ear. It's best if you looked into other pioneer headphones that go over ear! Overall these headphones are worth the price, but invest a few extra $$ on comfy ones

EVERY DJ NEEDS THESE WIRED HEADPHONES ! I bought 3 of these because of how good they are man, i hate over the ear headphones when im mixing and these sit right above your ears comfortable enough to use for long durations of time while also not getting caught on things. great price too !

The quality of these were the best. The size and fit was perfect I could adjust it however needed. Play on one ear or the other. Sound quality was insanely good. I would use these normally lol. Super durable don’t try to break though. Definitely worth what I paid.
