Ceramic Replacement Cutter Fits Most Andis Oster Wahl AG/A5 Clipper Blades

What a wonderful product. I have been using a conventional blade in my Oster A5 for over 40 years cutting my Bouviers. I would typically get two hair cuts per sharpening with a ultra clean coat. I know get 10 and still counting. A great product. They do get warm after using for an hour or so. I keep a second set and switch them in half hour intervals. This seems to work very well.

I use this ceramic replacement blade to fit into my #10 cutting blade for a Thrive Animal Cutter. I give my dogs - a mini-schnauzer and an Australian Silky Terrier, their haircuts. The ceramic blades don't heat up and seem to maintain sharpness fairly well, with easy clean-up.

I saw these type of ceramic blades on a friends clippers and loved how cool they stayed, so I got these. They have worked excellent on my clippers and haven’t had any problems. The one thing I was bummed about was they only fit on my 10 blades not the 30’s, 40’s, or 50’s. Just check and make sure they fit the blades you have.

does not work on my A5 blade sets. Seems to be to short to reach the cutting edge of the comb. goes on ok just does not cut.

Today my 10 blade just wasn't doing the job so I replaced the cutter with this ceramic replacement. It was like having a new blade. Since I have only used it on one poodle, I don't know how long it was last, but for the first time use it was great. Hoping it lasts a long time. The ceramic cutter is cheaper than sending blades out for sharpening. (Oster A5 clippers and oster blade)

It is great. It doesn’t get hot near a fast as the metal to metal blade. Easy to clean too.
