Rye Grass is growing after three days
I planted the rye grass just a couple of days ago. It is already sprouting and is about 1/2 inch tall. If I can keep my dogs out of the areas that the (terrible snow fence) snow fence is then it will grow. It generally grows quickly if continued watering in the morning and evening. I need it for coverage while my centipede grass takes hold which can easily be a year for centipede to grow into an area.

Big fat seed
Just received today and will sow when leaves are down . I use this in a north facing poor soil area which is fenced for my dog. I use it to help with winter mud..This is big fat seed! I’ll follow up with the results later!Update… grass came in slowly when seeded in VA after leaves were up in late November. But it did come up. Once spring rain and milder temps came it took off! I put my leftover seed in empty flower pots for the winter to enjoy some green on deck. The grass is beautiful swaying about. I don’t even want to pullIt to plant flowers! Im interested to see when it dies off. Usually my store bought rye disappears when hot weather hits.My dog occasionally munches on this grass.

Planted in early Feb. Sprouting in March
These seeds are large and easy to spread on bare patches with little prep. They are sprouting well now in March as weather warms. It is a very thick stemmed grass that should hold soil well on steep hills.

Amazing product!! Will be using this again!!
I live in the south and have a centipede lawn that goes dormant in the cool season. Have used rye grass during the cool period for asthetics. Never been pleased with past results. Saw this product and gave it a try. This is exactly what I wanted to see! Very easy to establish and the results were amazing!! I had a bare area on a shady side of my house that would never take. Just threw it out there by hand to see what would happen. It is even staying green as it is warming up where other types of ryegrass die back by now. I am going to do my whole yard next fall!! AWSOME product.

Not for Texas heat
Bought it for my front lawn worked good in the not so hit weather but as soon as that 110+ weather hit here in Texas it died real quick. Grew fast though so if you are in a cooler region it might work for you.

Terrific Winter Rye
I haven’t planted yet, as I live in the Gulf Coast Region. Typically put it out in early Nov. emerald green and doesn’t get too long. This will last until my lawn takes back over in early April.
