Perfect for what I am using for
I don't own a horse any longer, but have purchased reins as dog leashes in the past. (much better product at a great price) I walk 2 dogs by myself and thought this would work perfectly and it does!! I have knots tied in various places and can change things up when I need to. As for reins yes they are quite long but works great for me! the material is soft and feels comfortable in my hands, the clips work perfectly and the construction is sturdy.

Disappointing.. 1 Star
I would NOT recommend these as a training tool for horses, they are way too long and the clips are too small for the reins to move through. The first time I tried to use them, the clip snapped off... the actual reins are heavy duty but still way too long to be practical..

Nice quality but too short
Too short for my 15.3 gelding. Might work for a 15 hand horse.

Too long and thick
Superlong and very thick which makes it hard to hold and move through the hooks.

Helped with bucking and head tossing

Too Short
The ones that I received were not 16ft, but 10ft and were not long enough to use on a horse

Super long reins
I rated it a 3 only because they are super long. I love the thickness of the rein and it is made very well, but I have to tie it and loop the excess around my saddle horn when using so it doesn't get in the way. Other then the length, it is a great product.
