[2pcs] 3.5mm Right Angle Male Plug Gold Plated Solder Connector [Wv-lstp-2]

Great improvement to my studio headphones. Relatively easy to solder and the tabs come with heatshrink on them (although I'm not sure why.) You'd have to REALLY try to break this.

Bought this to replace a damaged plug on my 'at-gym' headphones, they take a beating. Nice design on the inside, yet the soldering project was tedious within the close quarters, but it's done. I 'painted' the bare conductors inside with nail polish to be sure I would not have a short in there...job done.

The additional shank beyond the 3.5 mm connector is about 4 mm long and has a diameter of about 5 mm. That shank assures clearance from most cell phone cases so that the plug may fully penetrate the socket. I have not seen this excellent feature on other name-brand right-angle plugs.This product is not for a novice to solder--you will need previous experience at soldering. These went together quite nicely, although the cable hole is a bit on the large side. I added an extra piece of heatshrink to make up some of the difference between the hole and my cable

Seem to be very dureable. Just be aware they are made for larger size wires like pictured. If you have a smaller gague wire use a couple pices of heat shrink before crimping the wire to the connector to allow for strain relief. Also easy to solder compared to other 3.5 connectors I have used in the past.
