Poor quality, good content
I bought this book for use in a couple of classes in a cybersecurity master's degree program. The content of the book is very useful...it's not just classroom material. However, this edition is poor quality. The paper is very low quality and the print is faint. It has a legend on the cover that it is not to be distributed outside Indian subcontinent (I do not live anywhere near). I really wish I had returned this book when I received it. It would be nice to have a decent quality copy, as I plan to use it as a reference going forward.

economy version of a cybersecurity introductory book
Is a good investment if you are price sensitive and do not mind some printing and paper defects. As for the book contents is really high in abstraction and does a good job explaining concepts and gives historical attacks examples through the book.

Good International Version
I have had issues with international versions before, but not with this one. The pages are copied well and from what I can tell, all the pages are there.I took one star off for a few reasons...1. This is the international version so it is technically illegal to sell in the US2. some of the pages come out. I just carefully tuck them back in. but if I wasn't careful, I could easily loose a bunch of pages...

Long chapters
Chapters over 90 pages long make it quite difficult to stay engaged, especially when attempting to also take notes. A lot of the end chapter questions are annoying to answer and you must go on a hunt to find a very brief unclear answer, or better yet no answer at all and you must simply infer the knowledge and hope it's right. Do you like re-reading the same sections over and over trying to decipher the answer to a question? If so then this book is for you. Or maybe it's just required.

Best cyber security book I ever read!
If you are studying for Security+ exam, or seek higher technical learning, this textbook is for you! Learned so much from this book, more than 3 years at college could ever teach me.

Great book for College class.
Had to get this book for college. You can easily understand the terminology within the book and they did a great job of that. I definitely walked away remembering parts from the book.

Comprehensive & informative!
I used this text book for my Security in Computing class at my job. It is very comprehensive and covers a wide breadth of areas and builds up to application/network security. Great book. Can't go wrong with this one!

Contains all the content - Indian product not for sale in the UK though
Has all the content and much cheaper than UK versions, however it is not for distribution in UK and no coloured pictures ("genuine" stickers used to cover up text saying not for sale outside of India and Bangladesh).

Stale and repetitive content.
This outdated 2015 book is still being used in cybersecurity courses...in 2022.The writing is horrible and reads like a university group assignment written at the last minute with very little editing. The authors continually go off on tangents making this book needlessly long.A painful and boring read.Too bad I can't return it.

Text Book for Uni
for me it's a Uni textbook, so no choice in the matter. It is written in an old fashioned style and full of anecdotes/scenarios that some people might find useful for context and others will find a waste of study time. It is very factual, reasonably up-to-date (given it was published in 2015) and very easy to quote. It seems to describe things twice or, repeat them in different chapters, which can be confusing/frustrating but, does save going back to other chapters all the time.Re: buying this on AmazonKindle Cloud Reader doesn't show the page numbers and Amazon says that this is up to the publishers but, when I look at the epub version on my Uni website there are page numbers. Can't do Uni references without page numbers, so won't be risking any more Amazon purchases for Uni Textbooks. Mind you, 3 different eBook sources (Pearson, Booktopia and the iPad version of Kindle) report 3 different total number of pages.
