All comes out fine. Plus this extends the life of more expensive micron filter. No sure of flow rate, but 8 oz glass fills very fast. **Q: How many microns?** A: filtration down to 1 micron. thank you. - j **Q: Does this include the filter and O-ring?** A: Absolutely **Q: Is this what i need for manitowoc ice machine 240A?** A: We have a few Manitowoc ice machines. Manitowoc does make their own, which we have on our newer models. I believe this product would be fine as long as it does not reduce the supply of water to your machine. I did try a smaller filter with a 1/4 inch line on one of our machines, only to find that it starved the machine of water.
