It is what it says it is
Decent price!Update: To those inexperienced with creating cable-ends, this cable was much more difficult to work with. It took me 2 hours to make 2 cable ends, after having done about 20 of them without issues on a different cable spool. These cable pairs are very flimsy in their shrouds, which make difficulty when pushing them into cable ends. The tiny cable pairs also fray during handling which also makes them difficult to feed into the ethernet caps. Speed test results on the finished lines are normal. Bottom line, it works and it's cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Cable was junk after a few months.
This cable hasn't held up to even the lightest of use. We ran it through the attic to a closet a few months back and all was good and pulling 850/850 range. It hasn't moved since. I noticed some slower speed on my main PC. I assumed it was from the switch or provide. After removing all hardware between the router and PC it was still slower. So I can call ISP support. They saw no issue. After assuming they were wrong and insisting I got nowhere. I then tested directly from the router to a laptop on a new cable. Boom speed was great. Then I pulled this cable out feeding in a new one as I went... boom speed was good again with original setup. Turns out good cable was the culprit of 4 hours of troublesgooting and dealing with tech support. Dont be me. Dont buy this cable... be nice to ISP support... at least 1 out of 100 times they might be right.

now I know why they can offer it cheaper than most other salers
The cable works, but you can also easily tell the quality of the cable itself isn't as high. Maybe I'm just used to working with cat5e plenum cables with thicker gauge copper wires inside but the cable itself is thin as heck and it feels like if you twist it or bend it too much it's just going to break. I bought it because I was lazy and didn't want to run my own cable through the attic to another room with a box of 1k' cable (for around $60) but yeah, it looks like I'll get to use this for a year or 2 then still have to spend that money anyways. Was just hoping for higher quality cable than what I got.

No more taking down cameras
Sooooo much easier than taking cameras down to troubleshoot wifi problems. I have 8 wifi security cameras, and although they're usually quite reliable, if one does drop its connection for some reason and fails to reconnect, I don't have to take it down and drag it inside to get a wired connection. 100' of cable reaches any of the cameras, and cat5e is more than good enough to connect to the camera and get it on wifi again. Yay!

Horrible quality Horrbile product BEWARE!
This has to be the worst Cat5e cable I have ever seen. The individual wires are even smaller strains of copper wire woven together. Not solid like EVERY OTHER Cat5e cable. I wasted 2 weekends trying to diagnosis connection problems and this wire was the problem. If you plan to cut or connect using hubs or any manipulation of the wire you should not buy or know that you have been warn. I would give this a less than one star if I could. Spend a little more and save yourself time and money.

Works perfectly
Cable construction is flimsy and bends easily. Looks like the cable's plastic is about to break apart in many sections. But it works 100% perfectly streaming 12hrs to Twitch on a 6k stream for months. So who am I to complain? Great cable!

Good for the price
Mar 2020: Sheathing is of the cheapest quality I have seen, but it is very reasonably priced. Having felt it I'm just content to 4 stars in terms of quality. I will give an updated review after testing its speeds but the wire gauge also seems smaller than I would like. Hindsight I would have paid more money for a better cable, but that is for peace of mind right now. If the cable holds up it would be a great priced cable. Get what you pay for. If running under desks. Then I wouldnt worry. Get something heftier if running in walls.

Great Cable at a Good Price
When the wireless adapter went out as I was trying to clear data from an old desktop computer, I needed a 50 foot CAT5e cable to reach my router without having to disassemble and move it. Knowing it would probably be a one-time use, I searched for the least expensive cable I could find that had Prime delivery. To my surprise, this one popped up for under five bucks with Prime shipping, so I clicked the buy button and hoped for the best. The cable arrived quickly and worked well. The connectors are higher quality than some of the shorter, more expensive cables I have. I'm very pleased with it, and while I hope not to have another reason to use it anytime soon, I'm glad I have it in my collection of cables should I need to do another data rescue or connect to the Interwebs if my Wi-Fi goes wonky again.
