Hinge Angle Restriction Clip - 86 Degree Opening (10 Pack)

Such a simple little item that works really well on IKEA 110 degree hinges. Now I've at last found the correct item they work really well. Wish I'd found them a while ago and I wouldn't have wasted money on IKEA's rubbish 95 degree hinges. My advice is to buy 110 degree hinges and these for the particular hinges you need..

Can confirm these fit to IKEA UTRUSTA 110 hinges and prevent the door from opening too far. Expensive bits of plastic, but they do the job!

Do not fit 110 hinges, too flimsy and just pop off. Waste of money.

These clips were easy to fit and worked perfectly. You don't need any tools to fit them. They are only suitable for the Blum 110 degree hinges (NOT the 107 degree ones). Blum have a good website which shows how to identify whether you have the 110 degree or 107 hinges, and a video showing how to fit them, but I can't link to it from this review apparently (sigh). First remove the door by unclipping the hinges (there's a button concealed beneath the arm of the hinge which releases them). Then place the door on a flat surface and put both hinges in the closed position (i.e. perpendicular to the door). Then insert the plastic clip as pictured, and refit the door. Very simple to fit and they work really well. I've fitted them on four doors in our kitchen and they've completed fixed the problem of the doors hitting the adjacent walls. I didn't have any breakages and the clips seem quite robust.

Careful because the 110 degree and 107 degree hinges look so similar and are both Blumotion hinges. These clips are for the 110 degree and will not physically fit in the 107 degree hinge. I've attached a picture of the 107 degree hinge - the gap between the wood and metal is too small so the clip won't physically fit. If you have the 107 degree hinge then look for 74.1103 as that is the correct restrictor. These restrictors are well made and I'm sure will work fine on the correct hinge.

The restrictors did not fit my Blum cabinet hinges. I checked the Blum website first to make sure what to buy. Waste of money

These tiny (and a bit expensive) clips work brilliantly if you want to stop a door with Blum hinges from banging against a wall, or another door. It just restricts the opening angle a tiny bit, but with a little bit of twang still. Little bit fiddly to work out how to fit them in but so neat and simple once in place.

These are superb in solving an issue that most people don't know there's an answer to - when your Blum hinged cupboard doors bump against walls or other items when fully opened due to the door opening angle being 110 degrees, these tiny little clips slot into the hinge reducing the opening angle to 86 degrees, preventing the door from hitting other objects. Perfect.

Hard to find that this existed, but exactly the solution for the problem. Really happy with such a small piece of plastic.

These worked perfectly on my Blum hinges. They are much studier the factory originals.

Superb product that works for Ikea Uppdatera hinge 110° with built-in damper (805.248.82). Worth every penny. Why Ikea does not sell these is a mystery.
