Nice!
I use it for processing my own deer meat. It came to me very sharp and I occasionally resharpen it using my WorkSharp sander. The handle has a nice shape, no worries about my hand slipping. No comments about how long it holds a edge as even knives Iโve paid good money for all seem about the same.

Great Value for Price
Super sharp. Excellent quality. No reason to waste money on the far more expensive versions. This will get the job done. Very sturdy knife.

Solid, well built, sharp knife for the price, but...
This is a very good quality, solid, well built, sharp knife for the price, but there are some flaws: 1. The knife is quite heavy for its size 2. The handle is very thick 3. The thickness of the handle make for an uncomfortable grip for me 4. The above 3 flaws combined would make for arm, wrist, hand fatigue My go to boning knife is a 6" Victorinox Fibrox Pro Curved Semi-Stiff boning knife which I usually use for beef, pork, and lamb butchering. I needed a shorter 5 inch boning knife for chicken and fish but couldn't find a 5" Victorinox Fibrox Pro Curved Semi-Stiff boning knife on amazon so I thought I would give this a try. Even though my 6" Victorinox is longer, the handle is thinner, the grip is more comfortable, and the knife is lighter and feel more balanced in the hand making for smoother faster cuts. I will say this knife is a great value for the price, is razor sharp and would make an excellent starter knife for a home cook or beginner in the kitchen, but someone with more cooking/butchering experience will probably require something lighter that provides a more comfortable grip. I will be returning this to look for something that provides a more comfortable weight, grip, and feel in my hand.

Talk of the Kitchen
I purchased the honing steel, butcher knife, and boning knife to process a half pig carcass in November of 2019. The blade arrived very sharp and maintained its sharpness throughout cutting while using the honing steel. I have thoroughly enjoyed this knife, wishing I had purchased it sooner -- having butchered and processed my own chickens, ducks, goat, and now pig, over the past couple of years. When talking knives with friends and anyone interested in breaking down their own animals, I have recommended this knife. It isn't fancy but it certainly gets the job done. The semi-flexible blade was perfect to separate flesh from bone -- including the aitch bone with minimal loss. The price is right, I was extremely happy with the knife.

Sharp
Pretty sharp and easy to maneuver. I have no knife skills but good tool help compensate my lack of skills when deboning chicken.

best knife deal
We have purchased these for processing deer 5 times. They hold an edge well and cost 50% or less of higher end knives. Tip breaks off toss it and get another they only cost $10.

Knife isn't very sharp.
Not sharp, the steel is not high enough quality to hold an edge for very long. The handle is comfortable, but to big and balky for the length of the blade. You would be better served with a descent quality 4 or 6 inch fishing fillet knife.
