As a novice cake maker, I have usually bake cup cakes or sponge cakes and just drizzled icing over them, but when my grandson got interested I decided to get a little more adventurous. This cake decorating set really does have everything I could possibly need to help with our new venture. I was originally just going to purchase a cake stand and some piping bags but when I saw this incredible set for less than £20.00, I couldn't resist.Now everything is plastic except for the spatula knives which aren't sharp and the icing nozzles, so very child friendly. The silicone cup cake holder are reusable, great less waste; the cake stand rotating; we have a cake slicer, and numerous tools that I haven't even tried yet. Yes this probably wouldn't appeal to a professional cook but for a home baker like myself, it is great.I have suggested we make some Christmas decorated cakes for my grandson to take to school, so a busy weekend ahead, but it should be fun.A really lovely set, great value and child friendly; I look forward to using it all.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Super impressed. The bottom of the Cake stand has like rubber stuff on it so it's not sliding all over the place on my kitchen top. Also I've had a good look and the rotation mechanism seems to use ball-bearings. So this isn't a cheapo thing. I have no idea what the 2 screw things included are but the rest of the stuff is great for this low price. I'm hoping my first cake doesn't turn into a disaster and this kit looks great to me so far. Love the silicone cupcake molds you don't need to grease them and they still work!

I have only got into baking over the past couple of years, particularly so with being home a lot more this year.I have found the goodies in this set to be incredibly useful. There’s everything I need and more included in this set. The cake turn table has reduced the time it takes me to ice a cake significantly and made it less messy too! The silicone cupcake cases are great. Fun bright colours and shapes and it feels good to be producing less waste like you do with throw away paper cases, so we’re doing our bit for the environment when we’re baking too.The piping set and bags are great and robust for the job and I shall look forward to decorating a cake using them at the weekend.There are things in this set that I need to learn how to us but I shall have fun doing so as I continue my baking adventure

I bought this in preparation for my daughters 3rd birthday as I did her cake myself and I found this kit extremely easy to use . The two part piping thing made it easy to switch nozzles and all the items worked as well as they should of ,considering what you get it is great value for money ! I’m a novice and I found it very easy to decorate the cake using the items provided plus a YouTube video on how to pipe. Can’t wait to use again for my eldest child’s upcoming birthday

We bought this set for our neice birthday cake she just turned 4 . I will be honest, for the price and quantity of items included we did not think the quality would be good, you get what you pay for. Well, we were completely wrong. We do a lot of cooking and baking and were surprised at the quality , all very good. This kit included everything you needed for baking. For a great price. Great gift for who that love baking. Really enjoyed it !
