I love this pencil but wish there was a sharpener. I use it as a liner and it gets dull quickly.

A good portion of my initial order arrived today.From what I can see, the Maybelline eye color tube appears to be JUST the color I've been looking for for a long, long time. Maybelline New York Eyestudio Colortattoo Concentrated Crayon Eye Color, Pink Parfait, 0.08 Ounce However (and, no, "however's" are rarely followed by good comments), the tip (product displayed above the protective tube) was broken upon arrival and the color smeared all over inside the once clear cap. The plastic sealant is still intact so I know no one's tampered with it and I honestly can't figure out how or why it broke. The packaging in the box seemed to be more than adequate. I can't compare it to any other product I've used as this is the first time I've actually found this color anywhere.I'm not, however, going to return it for a refund, as it would undoubtedly cost me just as much as, if not more than, the original purchase which, to me, makes it seem counter-effective. I'm hoping you understand my reasoning and am assuming I worded it correctly.The other items I ordered which were also delivered today (smaller tipped stylus for my kindle and phone, a book purchased as a gift (for a somewhat stubborn individual who refuses to extend their "gadget" exposure anywhere above their trusty flip phone) (yes, I said "flip phone") and a "Just Dance" DVD for my Wii in hopes it'll stir me to move around and lose some (i.e.: a LOT) of weight (with all blinds and curtains fully and firmly closed to avoid horrifying the neighborhood), were all just fine upon inspection.Thanks again for whatever transpired to spur the US Postal Service to deliver on Sundays. I feel somewhat guilty but not so much so that I'd delay my order entry a day. O_o pffft, hardly.

Why don't they make more fat eye pencils? I don't know. They are so handy for a quick swipe of color or definition. I had this pencil/crayon in 2 colors and decided to try the gold. They do last longer than your typical powder or cream shadows. The bronzey and gold colors are also great for filling in the whole lid, but I do find they crease later in the day. But it has been 100 degrees and muggy here, so you have to take that into consideration. I use the gunmetal gray for a bold thick liner. The price is nice so you can try a few colors, but I am disappointed in the color range. Why so many shades of purple and not more greens, grays, neutrals? The major complaint that others have noted too, is the packaging. The cap does not stay on, even in a drawer, so forget a makeup bag. I also experienced (with the bronze) the product sort of shrinking or contracting, so that it falls out of the plastic altogether. Really weird. I put it back in, but it will not stay in there on its own. Overall, I recommend this based on longevity and price point! Might as well play up those eyes ladies, it's all we've got to work with these days!

I wanted a flesh toned one but this is a champagne shimmer. You can't tell from the pictures.

I purchased one from Wet & Wild that was awful. Could not see the product on the water line and threw it out. I tried this hoping for better results and its great. Nice nude and shimmery color and brightens the eye, just what I was looking for.

I had been looking for a creamy eyeshadow stick for a long while now with not a whole lot of selection to choose from. I normally only like using eyeshadow that's color is on the gray/charcoal color spectrum for that smokey eye look I often wear.However, there are not many brands that sell creamy eyeshadow sticks in their line. Most brands only offer the traditional powder eyeshadow. And of the few that do carry creamy eyeshadow sticks, they do not have gray amongst the colors available. And the of the small handful that do have gray as an option, they either are too far out of my price range (costing close to $20) or they usually contain glitter.However, im a 39 year old woman on a budget, that's not trying to look like Jem! & therefore I'm not a fan of makeup containing glitter or that necessitates getting a second mortgage on my house to afford it.So I was glad to come across Maybelline's Color Tattoo crayon in Charcoal Chrome. It was very reasonably priced at around $5. It did not include any glitter. It's the perfect shade of gray for my needs, not too light but not too dark either, just the perfect balance in between. And it goes on very smooth and effortlessly. It took just a few seconds to apply it.The actual crayon part had come loose out of the plastic body/dispenser of the product when I received it upon its delivery. Although, unlike what happened with other reviewers, the actual eyeshadow was not crushed and smeared all over the place. The crayon itself was still completely intact and without any damage so I gently slid it back into the plastic body/dispenser and had no further issues.However, I do see that this issue might not always turn out as well as it did for me. So if you are truly interested I'm getting this eyeshadow stick/crayon, I'd advise finding and buying it at your local pharmacy/department store etc.

I bought 3 of these Maybelline Colortattoo eyeliner crayons, 2 of the 3 of them came already opened with the security seals broken with one having the entire tip broken off and the other opened one had been used!! This is not acceptable! Horrible, horrible that these were actually shipped out to a customer. I did not pay for opened, broken and USED products!
