Should i shake this before using?

Yes, take it to a paint store or wherever you bought it, and have them shake it on their paint shaker. Great product!

Can I use what’s left over as a regular primer for paint?

I’m not a professional, but, I’d think it would make a good primer as well! It dries as a “satin ” finish and I would think any cover paint would adhere to it well.

Can this be used over existing wallpaper in order to paste new wallpaper on top?
