Carhartt Men's Iconic J01 Duck Detroit Jacket

I hope this helps many people. The jacket is as described; it runs a little larger than normal. It's bigger than a regular jacket, apparently designed to be layered underneath, but the sleeves are fitted and it's longer than usual. It's long enough to wear some thicker clothing underneath. It's comfortable, high-quality, and very durable, judging by the fabric. Ideal for work or casual wear, it's guaranteed to last a long time. My advice, as always, is to order one size down, and if it's uncomfortable, go for a larger size or a Tall. It's excellent, and I really like its short design and long sleeves. Es mas grande que una chaqueta normal al parecer esta disenada para llaver otras piezas por debajo, pero su diseño es ajustado en las mangas y mas largo que lo normal. Es lo suficientemente larga como para llevar ropa algo gruesa debajo. Es comoda, calidad y muy resistente segun su tela. Ideal para trabajar o vestir garantiza una larga vida util. Mi consejo es igual que todo un size menos y en caso de incomodidad ir por el talla alta o Tall. Es exelente y me gusta mucho su diseño corto y mangas largas.

Very nice high quality jacket. Will keep you warm while being light enough to not overheat on cool spring/fall days. Inside of chest/back is fabric while the inside of the arms are plastic/synthetic quilt making it easy to layer with long sleeves. Good wind resistance and water resistance. Nice for either work or casual wear. Definitely worth every penny and will not need another coat for a long time

I’m 5”9 185LBS,⬅️ (we listen and we don’t judge) originally ordered a Large. Received it, tried it on and it was HUGE! Sleeves were extremely long, the body of the jacket was super baggy, even with a sweatshirt on I still looked like a 5 year old trying on Grandpas suit jacket. I returned the Large, ordered a Medium and it fit perfect! (That’s what she said) Also fits nicely with a sweatshirt on. Certainly not the warmest jacket but does the job on those 50 degree days. Beats going back to your Ex to keep you warm on those chilly days. The zipper is a bit annoying to operate but that seems to be a thing with Carhartt jackets. Being that I own a few, they all have that same issue. Still it’s no where near as annoying as your boss saying “Good morning” on a Monday morning, before coffee. I really like the tan color of the jacket but just know, it’s not a perfect match to the Timberland tan, the jacket is a bit darker. So, if you’re looking for a jacket to perfectly match your Tim’s, this isn’t it unfortunately. But Damn does it still look nice when paired with the boots! Play on, playa! 😂 Overall quality of the jacket is really nice, built to last long than your last relationship!

Keeps me very warm. The torso was kind of short but could be the style. Washes fine using the instructions on it. Weight feels fine. Not the lightest jacket I've had but gives me the sense that it effective. Pockets have no zippers but nothing has fallen out. Before purchasing I've considered the reviews about the zipper problem, but personally I haven't had any issues or felt like there were going to be any. I really like the design and material on the inside.

I bought this jacket for my husband, and he really loves it. The quality is great, it fits well, and it looks very nice on him. The material feels durable and comfortable, and it is perfect for everyday wear. Very happy with this purchase.

I don't like the quality, hold, and snap of the buttons on the wrists. They have the brand logo, on them, but are disappointing. The fit is perfect. I am 5 feet 8 inches tall. The sleeves are long enough to allow a good range of movement. On the the first button snap, they are too long and the wrists are too big. But, the second is fine, and the length is needed be able to move well. This is the large. I have other Carhartt cotton jackets, size medium that I can not wear, because I washed them and they shrank, a lot. If, I loose weight, and feel like risking it, I may wash this one. If, I was planning on washing this jacket, at my current weight, I would consider getting an extra-large, and wash it a couple of times before use. I am 200 pounds and this size is perfect with with one long sleeve shirt underneath, or one shirt and a thicker second layer.

Long, in the, sleeves/arms, which, is my expectation, for, a Duck Detroit jacket. The Carhartt quality, matches, the brand's reputation, which, I, take, to be good. Has, the Carhartt label on it. It, is built for, medium warmth, which, in warm weather, would be, hot. Big enough, for, a hooded sweatshirt, to, go underneath, along with, another layer. Has, buttons, for, a hood, that, does not, come with, it. Inner and outer pockets. One inner pocket, has, a zipper. One outer pocket, has, a zipper. Inner zippered pocket, is, large enough, for, a wallet.

Excelente! La calidad es buenísima! Sirve para nevadas ligeras y temperaturas de -7° sin problema, la talla es tal cual, pedí una M y me quedó perfecta, mido 1.77 y peso 73 kilos.

The original XXXL I ordered sat too high at the waist-- so I returned it for a XXXL-Tall. This jacket brings back memories of the Lee Stormriders I used to own years ago --- with better pocket options and a full zipper. It's a very comfortable and practical jacket if you order the right size. I highly recommend it.

no tag and it smells used

Había leído todas las reseñas y lo que más me preocupaba era la cuestión del largo de las mangas, aludida en varias de esas reseñas como el problema más destacado. Me compré la M, haciendo caso de que es necesario bajar una talla de la habitual. Mido 1,67 y peso 79 Kg. Pues bien, mi opinión es la siguiente: la chaqueta me queda perfecta, a mi parecer. Ajustada, nada oversize, para llevar con camisa (con jersey sin problema, pero se ve, para mi gusto, demasiado rellena). De torso perfecta y de mangas..., sorpredentemente y teniendo en cuenta que soy bajito, perfecta. También es verdad que tengo los brazos fornidos y supongo que eso influye en que no me hace bollos ni se ve holgada de más, para nada. Por lo tanto en lo que a talla se refiere, perfecta. Por otro lado, no parece que sea una chaqueta que abrigue mucho (en Galicia vivimos en el agua, literalmente porque se puede cortar la humedad, no digamos si hay niebla, desde septiembre a mayo y con 11 grados te puedes morir de frío), sin embargo y, aunque no he podido probarla aún, me da la impresión de que es más caliente de lo que creía. Lo digo porque hace un año me compré dos (que devolví) Superdry de este estilo, la segunda con forro, y eran horribles, incluído para proteger del frío. El tejido exterior parece repelente al agua hasta cierto punto (y para lo gordo está el paraguas). En resumen, si crees que te gusta, cómprala porque me parece que te convencerá. Coge una talla menos de la habitual y ningún consejo más.

I couldn't be happier, sizing is same as the other workwear hoody I got. so I was hoping it'll be the same for the Detroit. Lucky for me it is! Extremely happy with my purchase! Thank you Arrived 1 week here in Australia.
