Snap Circuits Elenco My Home Electronics Building Kit for Kids Ages 8 and Up

I bought for my son for his 10th Birthday because he's currently learning about energy and how it works. He was so excited when he received and plays with it often. He especially loves building the house with all lights and ceiling fan. This is an excellent educational learning kit and it's so much fun if your child enjoys building and learning about energy and wires

My son really enjoys his Snap Circuits sets. Unlike some STEM kits he returns to the kit over and over as there are many items to build and the builds are interesting enough that he wants to build them repeatedly. The kit comes with a book that describes different ways to configure the set so there is always something new to try. Good quality and if you do break a piece individual replacement parts are available from the manufacturer at a reasonable price.

My 7 year old grandson was very excited about this set. He may need a little help getting started but he loves a challenge!

My 9-year-old son loves this! He's spent endless hours trying to rig up different components to run different effects. He somehow managed to get our TV remote to run the circuits. It may be the toy he plays with most.

These things are well put together and teach DC electrical theory. I’m an electrician by trade and my son may have picked it up quicker than most our apprentices!

My kids absolutely love these sets. We have several and they all work together. The Home Electronics Building Kit in particular went over very well because it was different from their other styles. My kids are homeschooled and Snap Circuits have been a part of their hands-on learning from 1st grade - 7th grade. Highly recommended. Homeschool mom approved.

Bought it for one of my grandsons who was anxious to get it home to try it out. Didn't make it, he opened it at our house. This is his second set and right away he was thinking of different things he wanted to try and build. With his first set, he was creative enough to build a functioning AM radio which allowed him to pickup the local high school football broadcast. Definitely worth the money to stimulate a young creative mind.

Received in brand new condition, undented box and pieces all in order. Guided my 4yo on a few projects and she has been fascinated thereon. Instructions manual can be understood by my 8yo independently after some supporting guidance at the start.
