Nice, but overpriced.
I like this gloss and scrub, but it's overpriced. Cute packaging. Thank you.

Loving the Lip Balm
We loved the scent (pina colada reminds me of Cancun) of the balm. We (daughters and I) use it nightly to moisturize our lips before bed. The scrub part is smoother then I'm use too but still works great when combined with moisturizer.

It's alright
It's not bad, it isn't MiNd bLoWiNg of course.. but it does it's job and the integrated lip scrub is a nice addition

Great lip scrub/balm!
Great lip balm/scrub! The scent and flavor are the prefect amount. Comes in a great small compact with a mirror. The scrub was not to harsh and made my lips feel great afterwards. I would buy Kaja again and recommend it to others.

Average in my opinion
This product almost got 1 star from me. Right before my review I thought "lemme go give it one more chance and see if I've changed my mind". I'm glad I did!! Turns out I actually like this lip scrub/balm set! When I first got it, the problem was I ran my finger over the scrub (bottom one) and couldn't find anything exfoliating. It felt like a balm, and the balm felt like a balm, smooth and slippery, so I thought this was a subpar product. But when I went to try it again before my review I took a little plastic spoons (from a moisturizer) and dug in. There the little sugar pieces were! Hidden beneath the smooth top layer. This could totally be a common sense thing for others who are hip to the lip scrub game - but I'm new to it. I only just recently began including my lips in my self care routine.Anywho. The scrub is gentle but it did get the flakes off my bottom lip, the lip that I chew when I am nervous and the lip that therefore always has loose flakes of skin on it.The balm (top one) isn't sticky. My lips can still slip and slide after application. But it doesn't last long. I just put it on 5 minutes ago and already it's wearing off. It's not as nourishing as I'd hoped. The pot it comes in is cute. Looks like an old school kids toy. It would've been nice to have a little spatula for application. All in all this is an ok lip scrub/balm. I don't feel like it's amazing and I don't feel like it's total trash. It's in the middle.

Fun and "tropical" - seems gimmicky, but both the scrub and lip balm work well!
If ever there were a lip balm that seemed to be made for summer use, it would be this one with its sunny yellow packaging and tropical scents. Of course, this product can be used anytime, but it is winter right now and we are still encouraged to stay at home because of the pandemic, so forgive me if I love being able to use it and imagine I am about to have cocktails on a warm beach! The "double decker" pot twists on the bottom to reveal the scrub, which smells deliciously of pineapple. Although I thought it looked small at first, only a little is necessary and it is not for every day, so I think it will last awhile. Most scrubs I have used mention applying and then wiping/washing off, but the directions for this one only say to rub it onto your lips until it "melts," implying that you do not need to wipe it away. However, even though I might not be able to see it anymore, I can still feel the graininess, so I do find it necessary to wash off the remaining "grit." Afterward, my lips do feel soft, smooth and ready for the next step, lip balm! With a hinged, compact style opening on top, I love that when you gain access to the balm, you also get a small mirror on the underside of the lid. It is tiny, but it is a nice bonus feature that can come in handy! I usually am not a huge fan of coconut, but this lip balm does not smell bad - it actually kind of just reminds me of plain coconut oil, so the scent is noticeable yet subtle and does not smelly fake like some "coconut" scented products can. I think the lip balm itself is decent - it has an almost petroleum jelly type texture, but not as thick and sticky, and it leaves my lips feeling moisturized. I do not know if it would be effective for healing already dry lips, but is a good "maintenance" balm for preventing dryness on lips that are in okay condition. It is not something I prioritize, but this balm uses synthetic wax as one of its ingredients, so it is Vegan-friendlyFor $17 (at time of review), I would consider this lip balm to be on the pricier side, but I guess if it is considered to be two products in one, the cost seems more reasonable. I do like almost nearly everything about this product - the pot is adorable, both the scrub and balm are effective, and the scents are yummy! While not a priority of mine, I also like that the balm is Vegan-friendly because the wax used is synthetic. It might not suit everyone, but I love the convenience of having both a lip scrub and balm in one cute, compact package, so I will continue to use mine and would consider buying another when it is finished.KAJA Balmy Bento Lip Balm + Scrub | Piña Colada - Transparent
