I've been looking for an aftershave products for quite a while now due to my sensitive skin and proneness to ingrown hairs and I've been trying quite a few products out there from target brands such as aveeno post shave lotion, gillette fusion aftershave, shea moisture shave tea tree after shave, and all the way up to more expensive brands from art of shaving and jack black products. The best I found before this was probably the shea moisture shave, but it wasn't really a lotion but more of a toner and left my face pretty dry. I want to mention that I also switched to a double edged razor from a gillette fusion about 3 years ago and if you haven't switched to a double edged razor I highly recommend it if your skin gets really irritated or prone to ingrown hairs as this has helped tremendously.On to the product called Cutman! I was a little hesitant at first to place this order due to the higher price, but it's still cheaper than any of the art of shaving or jack black products that I purchased in the past. Plus this bottle is a decent size and should last a couple months. I wanted to wait a couple days after I shaved to write a review to see if I had any consequences or side effects, but after three days, face is doing great! When you first put it on it has a cooling sensation which is really nice. It definitely didn't leave my skin feeling oily or greasy (like aveeno) and it had a pleasant yet manly scent to it. I would definitely describe the scent similar to that of Jack Black Cool Moisture body lotion if anyone has tried that but a little more subtle. I would say 2-3 pumps is all you need after your shaving routine. I would highly recommend this product to anyone in search of a good after shave lotion. Looking forward to many more shaves.Also, when I say shaving regiment I usually start of with a preshave oil (I use crew or jack black beard lube - both work great with a double edge razor). However, the crew may clog a big if you use gillette fusion proglide. Shaving cream I use is either proraso sensitive skin or taylor of bond street, both highly rated. And finally 2-1 aftershave moisturizer by cutman.
