We wanted a new couch. Actually we wanted a 4 seat couch that had a chaise at each end (U shaped) and the option to pull out the two middle sections to make a huge lounge type bed. Finding an actual couch that met those needs was pretty much impossible. I thought about LoveSac, but to get what we wanted was over $5000. I read all the reviews on this modular sectional and figured for the price it might be worth it. It totally was! Having the storage under each section is a real game changer for sure. I did purchase one extra section to make a total of 8 sections. They all arrived in seperate boxes through Fed Ex within a few days of ordering. They are super easy to set up and move around. We typically keep ours in the rectangle 4x2 bed/lounge set up (4 in the back and 4 in the front) for the 4 of us unless company comes over. Then we quickly take the two bottom middle pieces out and move them to the outter edge to make an extended U shape (4 in the back row, 2 on the sides) which can accommodate seating 8 guests. The only bad thing: We don't have dogs, but we have 2 cats and I will say that their claws will absolutely pull the fabric unfortunately. My cats don't claw at furniture ever, but just their natural grip from walking or jumping up and down have pulled the material. We have a ton of throw pillows blankets that we keep the couch covered with to avoid any more pulls.

This is a great sofa. It's very versatile and allows you to make it work with almost any room design. It looks really, really nice. It's relatively easy to set up. The only word of caution is to make sure you screw on the attachment hooks perfectly straight. If not, you'll struggle a bit with interlocking the sections. The cushions are pretty stiff at first, but after 2 weeks they are starting to soften up a bit, and I took my first nap yesterday as a result. The storage space is definitely a game changer. We've used it for sheets, blankets and pillows, as well as kids toys.

I really wanted to love this couch. I love the look, the color, the modular concept. It was easy to put together. The fabric is nice. I love how it's firm and you can sit up on it. I hate couches that you sink into. I really, REALLY tried to love this couch. However, I just can't. First, the backs are really low. The picture on Amazon doesn't really show this, but it's a super low back. But still, I set it all up and decided to give it a couple of days to see if I could live with that. After just ONE night of watching TV and sitting in the corner spot, I could feel the back piece slowly bending backwards. Now, I wasn't putting a ton of pressure on it, but I'm a good-sized man (6 feet, 275 pounds). Just leaning back against it was enough to bend it out of shape. You can see from my picture how that piece closest to me no longer lines up with the rest of the couch. I tried pushing it back into place. Nope. It's bent. And that was just after ONE night of sitting on it. I can't see this couch making it a year or more. So, I'm sending it back. Again, I really REALLY tried to love this couch. I love how you can just move the pieces into whatever configuration you want. I was planning on buying more squares to fill out the room. But, sorry. I can't do it. UPDATE: I have to update my review from 2 to 4 stars. I contacted the company, and they were VERY nice about it and were willing to let me return the couch for a refund. I stand by my initial review, but I want to emphasize, that I'm a big guy. If you have a family or "normal" sized people, or you want a sofa for the family room where the kids watch TV, this is a very nice couch. It's just not right for me.

I am beyond grateful we decide to order this sectional (7 seater). I was skeptical at first with the lower rated reviews but with the price we couldn't pass it up! The couch was delivered as stated, a few boxes may arrive and within the week the rest will follow. The pillows were separately wrapped in plastic in the ottomans, no stains or dirty. Setup was easy, my two year old was able to help me! The couch is more firm (it is brand new) but we've had it for about a week and it's definitely comfortable! I love we get to move the ottomans around and have enough room for the family! The back pieces attach into the ottomans and seem to be pretty sturdy for us! I'm so happy we made this purchase!

I was very excited to order this couch, was perfect for my girl friend and me as we just moved into a new place. I ordered it on a Wednesday, it came on a Saturday. Everything seemed great. When I arrived down stairs to collect the multitude of boxes, I was elated. As I began to carry the boxes up my three flights of stairs I noticed there was only six boxes, when I was expecting eight. I thought to myself “ maybe they have just come consolidated some of their boxes.” As I began to open up the boxes (which the couch was very easy to assemble, it looked very comfy, and exactly what I needed), I noticed it was clearly not the seven part sectional my partner and I had ordered. It is missing two backs, two ottomans, and two pillows. So we are left with a five part sectional for the 1600 dollar price tag. We have attempted to reach out, but have not heard anything back. I have had great customer service from many Amazon products, but this has not been the case so far. Which is disappointing for such a big purchase. I have read other reviews about this couch coming in waves, but Amazon and fedex have both declared it as delivered. So now we are left with the options of boxing up all of these and retuning it eating up the loss on the taxes, or settling with a product we did not order. I will definitely update if there is any progress, but for now it is extremely disappointing. If you order just beware. Dig deep to some other orders with missing pieces, and you will find I am not alone…

I have had this sofa for over 3 months and love it. So far 6 guests have slept on it, and so have my husband and I when we fall asleep watching a movie. It's great to move around to make a bed or extra long sofa when friends visit to watch things together. It is super easy to assemble and to change the arrangement. It was not easy to find a good cover for it, and it would be amazing if the seller could offer slipcovers that are also designed to fit each piece individually. Ottoman covers fit the bottom parts that aren't attached perfectly, and I cut small holes in some of those to keep things clean since we have dogs and the covers that drape over don't keep the sides or backs clean. Pillow cases work to keep the back pillows clean as well, but leave a side open so I've been using king size pillow covers that I've sewn velcro into the open side and that has worked great. This is the best couch I've ever had and I have no regrets with this purchase

Ok I’ve had these for a couple years now so I can really talk about them. If I had a chance to buy these again, I wouldn’t. Because they’re not all that comfortable to sit for long or even lay down because it hurts with the grooves. I’m short but when I sit it only supports half of my back so the upper half part it’s not supported at all even when u want to put ur head and neck on top of the sofa u can’t it’ll hurt immediately. Even to support ur arm the arm rest is so thin it’s uncomfortable when I put my arm on it. The legs on the sofa they’re short even to replace them aren’t cheap at all. The storage part is ok

I cannot recommend Honbay's sectional sofas highly enough. I bought the first one for my small living room and was very pleased with the quality so when I built out my basement I bought a large number of pieces and then over the next two years decided to add more pieces. They all matched. The quality is excellent and they hold up well. Still look brand new. I also chose this brand because it is firm enough to sleep on comfortable so when you have extra guests no worries. Also, when I needed extra pieces or special attention their customer service is the best.
