Although the microphone is sometimes over sensitive picking up background noises like keyboard, mouse clicks and conversations which can be annoying if you are recording live footage. This sensitivity also can give your vocals a very “booming” or “echoey” sound as well which is quite annoying. BUT a little tweaking on your recording software and this is easily negated. With its long USB cable you can position your microphone almost anywhere within limit from your system which gives it a very nice “mobile” feel.If you are looking to buy a new USB microphone with quality parts and an easy set up without breaking the bank this microphone maybe the one you are looking for. As for me this USB Microphone greatly improved the quality of vocals for my live stream, voice over and singing recordings and I am VERY happy with my purchase. Plus its sleek matte black finish of the microphone and accessories goes perfectly with my black minimalistic color scheme so always a great bonus.

This is by far the best mic i had and almost the cheapest...the mic comes amazingly packed and is very very easy to set upthe sound quality is ( as told to me by my friends and by listening to myself threw it) incredible without any software but with software you couldn't tell the difference between this mic and a £200 microphonedefinitely a good purchase for anyone looking for a great microphone!

Considering the price this is an excellent microphone and more than adequate for the occasional video call or even for live streaming. I downloaded the voicemeeter Banana software which adds lots of audio tweaking to the output of the mic and that really improved its quality. Perfect example was my 4 year old reading to his Nan via zoom. Before the mic it was hard to hear him via the in built camera microphone. Afterwards it was so much clearer and not so clipped.

The price range and value for that price is amazing! The build is well made and sturdy and pretty easy to set up! (An instruction manual might be handy for less savvy people as it comes without one). The sound quality overall is really good! My only issue is the mic it too sensitive. It pics up more then what I would like and there’s not much I can do to fix. I bought it to do streams with my bass guitar and the string noise is a little too much. It also seems to either be picking my pc fans up or there’s a buzzing noise with the mic. In comparison on my headset I own for gaming doesn’t pick up any of these. Overall though a great microphone to get as a entry/affordable mic! Would recommend

Brought this because my headset microphone was giving off static sounds to the people I was talking to online. It arrived in great condition, I unpackaged it, set it up, and the next day I move it from its position to closer in-front of me and the microphone falls off. The screw has come out and is just hanging there, I've had to superglue it to a fixed position so it does not fall onto my desk. But overall a great microphone for the price. I've experienced no issues with the microphone itself, only what I have already descibed.

Decided to start uploading my gaming sessions to YouTube, thought a bit of commentary was in order. Tried my headset mic which was awful. Had a look for good streaming mics and most recommended mics were in excess of £100. Didn't really want to spend that much so bought this mic after reading some of the reviews and I am not disappointed. The sound quality is fantastic. Also, the mic doesn't seem to pick up much in the way of background noise either. I run very aggressive fan curves and during the hot weather I also had a desk fan on and the mic doesn't pick up either my GPU fan or the noise from the desk fan. You do have to put your mouth quite close to the mic for it to pick up properly, say within 6 inches or so, but the sound quality is fantastic.Highly recommended.

In all honesty I was prepared for this to sound like crap and just send it back. There are no other mics at this price point with a full kit and stand - plus the mic is excellent too! Clear, crisp sound quality. Dead easy to use and so straight forward out of the box. No extra set up required, just plug in and go. Great purchase, couldn't be happier.

I bought this mic I think about 2 months ago or something like that Ive had an amazing time with it really good sound quality easy to use best value for money. BUT the boom arm they use for it is too weak and as seen in the picture it starts to bend til it breaks would sudgest getting a stronger one that fits the AT2020 mic.Seller I would love if you qould send me a new boom arm because I cannot afford paying £30 for a new one.
