I tried these as an alternative to wooden spoons. My wooden spoons looked really unclean despite washing them regularly & I thought it wouldn't be doing us any good using them to cook with. So I decided to throw all wooden spoons away & try these. I am very pleased with the result. They are really easy to keep clean, more hygienic & are sturdy when mixing a stew or what ever I'm cooking. The price is also brilliant. I will be ordering more. Would highly recommend.

Not so sure about the scooping part of the stirring, scooping and mixing description. The capacity is pretty small.
