Works with old Mercury outboards
I haven’t been on the water with it yet, but it was easy to install. All the factory connections hook right up. At this point it seems to be a well made replacement for the original.

Metal housing
Pictures weren't very clear on instructions. Trim wires were in reversed order. But overall very sturdy unit. I bought it for a 1986 Mariner 75 hp working great.

Good unit
Install was easy and quick. I just had to take it to a shop after to have the cables adjusted. Works great. I used it on a 1985 mercury 35hp.

Broken upon receipt…
Opened the package and the trim switch was broken. If it couldn’t handle sitting in a cardboard box, it’s not gonna last on my boat. I ended up ordering the name brand and the quality is so much better.
