Not tacky or cheap looking at all, large enough set for a big family and the weight feels like I bought something much more expensive. Goes through the dishwasher well, no complaints at all. I’d buy these again Review: Hudson Essentials 65-piece hammered 18/10 Stainless Steel Flatware Set - My husband constantly complained about the large-handled heavy knives in our flatware set. I decided to replace them and did a lot of research before purchasing an 18/10 flatware set which I returned immediately. I did more research and purchased another set two weeks later which I also ended up returning. I don't like returning items, but the spoons and forks on both sets were so lightweight and the handles on the forks and spoons were so small and thin you couldn't get a grip on them and they were uncomfortable to hold. My husband knew how much time I put into my research (including hand-on testing where I could find stocked flatware) and said to just keep what we had. I decided to give it another try with The Hudson Essentials 18/10 stainless steel flatware based on the first review listed. I'm happy with this purchase. The utensils are substantial like flatware used to be, easy to grip/hold and eat with and looks beautiful. They're definitely a keeper. ## Features - Hammered 60-piece flatware set, service for 12: includes 12 dinner knives, 12 dinner forks, 12 salad forks, 12 dinner spoons, and 12 teaspoons - Made from the finest food-grade 18/10 stainless steel, your cutlery set will last a lifetime and ensure decades of luster - The handles are beautifully hammered with a smooth mirror finish to create an elegant and striking appearance, perfect for any occasion - Featuring classic curves, heavy-weight heft and exceptional balance - The handles are smooth, tactile and comfortable, making each utensil a pleasure to hold ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08HL7T658 | | Additional Features | Dishwasher Safe, Heavy Duty, Stain Resistant | | Best Sellers Rank | #41,005 in Kitchen & Dining ( See Top 100 in Kitchen & Dining ) #158 in Flatware Sets | | Brand | Hudson Essentials | | Brand Name | Hudson Essentials | | Color | Stainless Steel | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 1,303 Reviews | | Finish Types | Hammered | | Included Components | 12 dinner knives, forks, salad spoons, and teaspoons | | Item Type Name | Silverware Set | | Item Weight | 11.5 pounds | | Manufacturer | Hudson Essentials | | Material | Stainless Steel | | Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Model Number | SQ-60-HM | | Number of Pieces | 60 | | Product Care Instructions | Dishwasher Safe | | Recommended Uses For Product | Dining, Flatware Serving Set, Hammered Silverware Set, Silverware Set | | Style Name | Classic | | UPC | 850005583202 | | Unit Count | 12 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Hudson Essentials - **Color:** Stainless Steel - **Finish Type:** Hammered - **Included Components:** 12 dinner knives, forks, salad spoons, and teaspoons - **Material:** Stainless Steel - **Number of Pieces:** 60 - **Product Care Instructions:** Dishwasher Safe - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Dining, Flatware Serving Set, Hammered Silverware Set, Silverware Set - **Special Feature:** Dishwasher Safe, Heavy Duty, Stain Resistant - **Style:** Classic ## Images ![60-Piece Hammered 18/10 Stainless Steel Silverware Cutlery Set, Flatware Service for 12 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61gV7eS2bCL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: After extended use, are your knives rusting after dishwasher cleaning? (I'm noticing mixed reports.)** A: Hi Denise, Although we do recommend hand washing and drying the knives, they are made to be dishwasher safe and should not rust after extended use even if only cleaned in the dishwasher. The reason that we recommend hand washing the knives specifically is that that the knife's blade is 420 stainless steel instead of the 18/10 steel used in the rest of the utensils. Although they are dishwasher safe, the knives should not be left in water for prolonged periods of time or in the dishwasher overnight. Immediately hand drying with a towel is also recommended. Also, it is strongly advised that you do not use dishwashing detergent or handwashing soap that contains vinegar, lemon extract/oil, or citric acid when washing the knives. The knife blade is made of 420 stainless steel, this higher carbon stainless steel is used because of its superior hardness and edge retention. The 18/10 stainless steel is too soft to retain a sharp cutting edge and becomes dull very quickly. For this reason, 420 stainless steel is used for the knife's blade. It is the gold standard for cutlery blades and used in nearly all high-end flatware knives. The downside of 420 stainless steel is that it is not as rust or corrosion resistant as 18/10 stainless steel, for this reason, we recommend handwashing the knives and drying them after. It is possible, but very rare, for 420 stainless steel to rust if acidic dishwashing detergent is used and the knives are constantly left in the dishwasher overnight or water for extended periods of time. Thank you, Michael G. **Q: Where is it manufactured?** A: Box lists the country of manufacture as Vietnam **Q: Do these stack well in the drawer?** A: IMO they do. Like any set they would tip over if stacked too high or jostled to much but they are very uniform and stack well. **Q: Where is this product made?** A: Made in Vietnam ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Classy silverware *by A***R on July 15, 2026* So beautiful! No rusting or tarnishing, no scratches, they wash and dry beautifully, and have kept their shine. The weight on them has been perfect, feels sturdy but not too heavy. I’m buying a second set now because our family is growing. ## Frequently Bought Together - Hudson Essentials 60-Piece Hammered 18/10 Stainless Steel Silverware Cutlery Set, Flatware Service for 12 - Hudson Essentials Hammered 18/10 Stainless Steel Hostess Serving Utensil Set, 8-Piece Set with Cake Knife, Cake Server and Lasagna Pie Server, Dishwasher Safe - Hudson Essentials 6-Piece Hammered 18/10 Stainless Steel Silverware Serving Spoons and Forks Set - Hostess Buffet Flatware --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/228793916-60-piece-hammered-18-10-stainless-steel-silverware-cutlery-set](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/228793916-60-piece-hammered-18-10-stainless-steel-silverware-cutlery-set) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
