Also, the screws have a star shaped head and what comes with them is a small allen wrench. I used a socket wrench with a star shaped bit that, after using a little dry soap on the screws, provided more leverage and made them go in a lot easier. Assembling it was not fun. The directions were labeled by someone who already knew how to build it but doesn't know how to diagram that process for the average person to understand and follow. It was a challenge to me, but I finally built it and am now very pleased with the end product. I also imagined how I would re-draw the assembly instructions so customers wouldn't have to go through what I went through. The bamboo is handsomely finished and appears quite solid. The overall design is quite unique.
