More like it!
I was originally very impressed with the earphones, they came quickly and the packaging they came in was absolutely wonderful. You get all the accessories you need such as a plethora of ear buds and a carry case etcUsing the earphones for the first time, the sound quality was great! Couldn't ask for anymore better myself, I don't think I'd notice the difference compared to something quadruple the price. But alas that's where the positives end and a vey significant negative begins. They're just not durable. Within the first day of use, little rubber sides on the earphones fell off on one side, and then the other side the next day. But you know what, it's not a big deal they still worked and I didn't notice the difference anyway.Fast forward about a month later and now the wire for the earphones has split, showcasing the actual metal wiring underneath. I use earphones everyday but for nothing serious, mainly just listening to music / movies in bed without disturbing others and it's such a shame they're already breaking so soon. For that reason alone I couldn't justify getting another pair. Maybe a faulty one product? I don't know but I'm going to try something else I think.EDIT: So I managed to get hold of another pair after some excellent customer service. So far, after only a few days, they have survived better than the previous pair which had bits falling after within a day. And checking over the earphones I notice the rubber sides seem much better attached than my previous pair. So a faulty initial product after all? It looks that way and with these holding up better and after the great customer service I'm inclined to go from 2 stars to 4. If they're still going strong in a month or two, i'll happily give this a 5 star rating and call the first pair just a bit of bad luck!

Really good sound at the price
Music is important to me - and I want the best quality sound. I didn't expect much from these at the price , but these really surprised me - better sound than the £100 + set that broke and had to be replaced. Nice deep / controlled base with great mid and treble definition. My only complaint is that the wires are a bit thin so time will tell how durable they are, but they seem strong enough. Very good value.

Great Vaule for Money- Style, Sound Quality, Comfort, Durability.
After my forth pair of similarly priced House of Marley earphones gave up on me, I decided I'd have to try something different, despite being a fan of the Marely style and aesthetics. I came across these, and although being as bit sceptical over the apparent quality for the price, was swayed by the overwhelming number of positive reviews- and I'm glad I was!The earphones come in beautiful professional packaging, reminiscent of my Wacom tablet (which was £400 mind you). Each component is separated into its own little box inside the main one. You get a little user manual, the earphones themselves, a selection of six different shaped and sized ear pieces to try and a high quality bag with a magnetic open/close to keep your phones in. I was impressed by the selection of ear pieces, as usually with your bog standard Skull Candy or Marley earphones, you only get two pairs, the medium and small size. With this one you get two sets of small, medium and large, one with a more conical shape and the other with an open, flatter shape. I went with the medium flatter ones and found these comfortable. The little manual even gives instructions on how to know if the ear pieces you've chosen actually fit properly for the health of your ears- which was interesting and helpful. As for the way the earphones look and feel in your ears, I found them to feel strange and bulky at first. If you're coming from earphones which are straight, meaning the component itself is in line with the ear piece, like me, these will feel different at first as you adjust to the angle of the ear piece as apposed to the component of the earphone itself. However after listening to a couple of songs, I got used to them completely and could hardly feel them at all. I can see these being very comfortable for long periods of listening. The two circle gold design looks great from the side and they appear very stylish. I've had no problems as of yet with the quality of the build itself. The right earphone has a remote on the wire. This is a slanted design and looks good. I have a Sony Xperia X, and all the buttons function accurately with my phone- pause, play, volume up/down, skip tracks and answer/reject call. Haven't had a chance to test the microphone on the remote yet.Now...Sound Quality. I don't profess to know much technically about sound quality, however can vouch from my own experience with many different sets of £20 budget ear phones, these are the best. MP3 tracks have the difficulty of sounding flat and well...compressed. But these earphones gave the best attempt at making the sound 3D and alive as I've ever had from this price and type of earphone. The bass is great, especially when you're playing at a high volume, there is richness in the depth of each track especially in the backing voices and instruments. The only problem is that at a high volume, vocals become a little tinny and flatten out. At a mid-range volume these sound great and remind me slightly of the depth in my vinyl collection in terms of sound quality- however we can't go that far.The thing I'm most worried about when buying this type of earphone is durability. All the ones I've had in the past for this price and below have lasted 6 months to a year at best, with moderate/long period everyday use. All of them have had one ear fail. I might be, and probably am, expecting too much from them for the price, but my last pair of Marley earphones which were £35 (and have failed me) just proved too much with the lack of durability. Looking at these, I think they'll last much longer with careful treatment. The wire is a medium thickness, slightly more so than the default Apple ones. The earphone and earpiece itself is well built and chunky, no problems there. The part where the wire splits into two for each earphone is protected by a sizeable piece of stylised plastic which looks like it'll last. The jack for your phone is nicely angled, the instruction booklet tells you which part of it to grip to pull it out without damage. With care, and using the protective bag it comes with, I hope these'll last longer and be value for money! All in all, these little guys are great value for the kick they give your music. They look great, feel comfortable for a long time, have great quality sound for the fact that their tiny earphones, and the best thing? They're £20!! I'll buy these again when the time comes. Brilliant.

Umm....nope
As soon as a tried these for the first time, I was confronted with a harsh, compressed sound with neutered bass and a very narrow soundstage, using the correct size rubber buds to ensure a good ear canal seal. Maybe these were faulty, but I wouldn't buy again, especially at a price point where you should normally expect a competent performance. That said, it was great the vendor accepted the return without question.

Great feel but they don't last long
I purchased these headphones as a treat for myself at the end of June.I was very impressed with the sound quality, and they come in a lovely package and feel premium, but over the last 2 weeks the left earbud has been cutting out and finally fell silent on Tuesday, in the third month of use. So they lasted intact for 11/12 weeks, despite me taking extra care of them because they're a lot more expensive than my usual £5 sets, only unplugging them using the method described in the manual, storing them in the carry bag when not in use.Suffice to say I'm on Amazon because I've just bought a pair of £5 earbuds, that way I won't be so devastated when they break!
