So far so good. Cable is 3.5 ft long for those curious. Probably wise to purchase longer cables when ordering. Set up was pretty easy. Downloaded app onto android phone. Haven’t downloaded to my iPhone just yet. Registered email, activated and added camera. Pretty easy. Playing with the settings. Upgraded cloud service free for 15 days. Can’t seem to download videos. You can view them but not save or forward off platform. I believe that the videos Are viewable for two days. I will check back in a few days with updates.UPDATE set up on iPhone and experience has been much better. To download videos you view the clip and press the download video while you are viewing the clip. It downloads only the selection not the whole 60sec clip.Motion notification previews are great.I set up the notification scheduling and it seems to have a mind of its own. I will play with it some more. So far I’m very impressed.You can’t beat the price and the subscription prices are very competitive.SD CARD UPDATE- after you format the card it is ready to use. I selected the loop option or overwrite. To view SD card footage, turn phone into landscape mode. Select SD card icon on bottom left and scroll time stamps using bottom slider. Move slider to desired time and release to play. Once you have found desired footage, press the video download button on right. Select save video to begin recording. Press again to stop recording. Video will be added to your photos folder app. This was accomplished on an iPhone iOS 13.

I use my TECKIN cameras a bit different than most people do. I do 3D printing and need a way to monitor prints as they are in progress. The TECKIN cameras give me the ability to see what is happening with my prints. I currently have 3 cameras and can select which camera to view form the main screen on the app. I can switch back and forth on cameras. Connecting the cameras is simple and takes less than 2 minutes to setup and be ready to go. The cameras offer a very nice picture in both daytime and night time. I am really happy with the overall quality and pictures these cameras offer.

So easy to place due to their light weight and small size. Very easy to set up. Great picture even in the dark. No batteries to change like my Arlos. I have these cameras everywhere and love that I can check the house when I hear that bump in the night and when I get that nagging question in my head at night about whether or not I shut the garage door I can check it all out on my Echo Show! If I could change one thing it would be that the sensitivity even on lowest setting is a bit much but I'm sure they'll fix that with a firmware update soon. My posted photos don't do the camera justice as they are photos of my Echo show. The outside photo is through the window and doesnt work at night due to the glare. Will be buying a couple when Teckin comes out with an outdoor version.

This took about 5 min to setup and run through my router. Yes you will need to connect your phone to the 2.4ghz of your router (that is if you are running two channels). and set this up. You can control everything from your phone and also share the feeds with other email addresses. Just have the other person create an account on the app and BAM now emails go to both people. The motion sensor and sound sensor are very sensitive and you can control it. You can zoom in on the feed both at night and also during the daytime. You can speak from your phone to the device to communicate to anyone within listening range. I have 2 16 micro SD cards and i record and then look at the footage later. If we go out of town and set up the motion and sound sensor i get the email. Record will go over the card once it is full. You can turn the little LED light off so people cant see it when they go in the room. Love it and for the price I might buy two more to play around with.

I've had indoor cameras going clear back to the x10 days. I can honestly say these cameras are the best I've ever seen or used! 5 stars, straight up. BUT - there is always a "but", isn't there? The app that goes with these cameras is pretty much out of the dark ages. 1 star straight up. No kidding. So that's how I award 3 stars, great 5 star camera offset by a 1 star app. Here's the deal, 1 - some have said don't use the Teckin app, use another, the "Smart Life" app. well, nice try, but I could not ever get the Smart Life app to add the camera, period. 2 - The weakness is Teckin uses an "account" for each device in use which consists of a discrete email address and a name. So, I install on my Kindle (nice big picture) and now cannot install it on my phone, because I've used up my email. Really bad way to set up a device access, IMHO. I even have 3 Gmail emails, but, apparently they all home to my main address, because the Teckin app will not allow the other 2 to be used. So, I have my cameras set up on my Kindle, and they all "share" to my wifes Kindle which has the Teckin app and uses her email. 3 - So,, for set up, add your cameras to your "owner" account, and set up your Shares, then put the Teckin app on device number 2. And in our household, that's it, we have used up all our email addresses and therefore cannot put the app on either of our phones. 4 - now, having spent 4 days of overnight support (they are in China btw), they say it's not exclusive, just that only 1 device can be live at a time, but I'm sorry, the Teckin app will absolutely NOT install on my phone, and the only thing I can think of is because it's the same email on both devices. They need to fix that.

This has been the answer to my prayers. I have my Dad and a housekeeper home with my daughter but neither have the time for technicalities like making sure my daughter is actually logged in at school and with her camera on instead of sneaking off to watch cartoons.(One is in the garden 24/7 and the other is cooking and keeping the house tidy) Anyways, I now have a very clear view of the Study and the Living Room. The picture is so clear I can zoom in and see exactly what is going on on the computer or tv screens. I shared the live feed with my Dad and it worked no problem he just needed to create an account on the Teckin App before I could share and I guided him through the steps.
