I have heard that cayenne pepper is good for skunk and other animal repellent. Does this one do this?

I heard it was good to stop my dog from digging holes in our fenced in rear yard. I tried it and he has stopped his digging. I am not sure about skunks though, try it!

Will this damage or burn the lawn in powder or liquid form?

It didn't burn my carpet grass. And it was new sod put down the day before.

Will this deter ground squirrels?

I would think that if they don't want their eyes or noses to burn, they would learn to stay away.
