Violet Evergarden I: Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll - Movie

I absolutely love this series. If you're thinking about it, it's definitely worth it! Violet Evergarden will take you on a beautiful, heartbreaking journey that you'll never forget.

Out of all the hard cover DVDz I've bought this one so far is the only one that has come in without a scratch/scrape/dent anything! Very satisfied!! 😌

Unlike the series where mistakes are everywhere. Spotting-on VAs and good directing make it a must for English dub fan to own. I have to lament about Slice bread that they don’t quite keep the dub version on the right path, and most of all, the consistency. It’s like a cycle of Good and Bad. Good on the series, then Messed up the OVA a bit, returning to being great on the side story movie, later spoiled the finale movie. I honestly believe they cannot keep it up because of the time gap. And Bang zoom never has this kind of issue, like K-ON and the Fate Heaven’s feel Movies.

The movie is great! However, I'm mainly writing this review to let potential American buyers know that for whatever reason this UK Region B disc is actually region free. It plays just fine in my Region A Panasonic blu-ray player. This along with the Region B Cowboy Bebop movie appear to both be region free despite having Region B on the box.

I never saw the series, so I am a bit unclear about the details of the situation.But not about the story.An "Auto Memory Doll", who looks like a young girl who lost both arms from the shoulder down (now metallic) in a war, is hired to help a young girl prepare for her coming out as a debutante.This is the entry point into a story of orphans who bond, are split up, and try to get back in contact.One of them is the only available heir to a Great House; hence the Finishing School and Auto Memory Doll, for her background is distinctly plebeian.Another is even younger, and even more determined.It worked for me. If it sounds attractive, it will probably work for you as well.

It was nice to see this after the series, a lovely film that Jason the same amount if heart that the original series did.

Arrived in great condition. Slight indents on the slipcover as that was not plastic wrapped, however it's barely even visible when you're looking for it. The disc case was plastic wrapped, and in perfect condition; the discs were in great condition too with no scratches. The "Funimation Digital Copy" sticker was directly on the slipcover but easy enough to remove.Would buy again.

I loved it, fleshed out violets life her teaching etiquette to that street urchin, to turn her into a lady. At the same time she seems to have adopted a fellow urchin as her little sister, complications galore.

El empaque llegó bien protegido, con todo y su película plástica original.Los únicos detalles los tiene la cubierta de la caja del CD. Viene un poco maltratada, como si hubiera estado bajo presión en el almacén (dobleces y partes sumidas) fuera de eso, el producto llegó en excelentes condiciones.
