I have a ketomojo td 4279, does it mean that I won't be able to get the strips after this year?

Thank you for reaching out. We are no longer offering the Keto-Mojo glucose and ketone test strips (the ones that come in a vial) for our earlier meter models on Amazon. They are available only on the Keto-Mojo store and we will be phasing them out by the end of the year.

How come there's no ketone-only option? I would never need glucose test strips

Look at info regarding gki reading. The new monitor tracks both glucose and ketones to give you your glucose ketone index, which is a better measure of overall health than ketones alone. Just something to think about!

Why is it you can’t just buy ketone strips?

Wasn't aware you couldn't just buy ketone strips. Did you try to contact Keto-Mojo directly? Actually your blood glucose is more important than ketone levels.

Is there a trick to opening these? I swear it takes me forever and is very hard.

Because it is a foil package, I rip it in the center of the long end. The package opens with the test strip sticking out so I can just remove it from the packaging without having to dig around.
