It's supposed to work by applying to cleaned armpits, and the salt stick naturally inhibits the growth of the bacteria that smells in your underarms. It WILL NOT WORK IF YOU HAVE DIRTY PITS! The whole point is starting with a clean, fresh slate and avoiding the stinky bacteria to begin with; not trying to remedy it with extra product like a traditional deodorant. So, I gave myself a good scrub in the shower, lathered my pits for about a minute each, rinsed, and dried. Then I wet the stick (seems to be controversial from other reviews, I think most people want their skin wet rather than the stick, but this worked better for me) and gave a good slather of the product on my underarms. I kept my arms in the air and twisted my body a few times to have them air-dry faster. After that, I was set. No stains on my clothes, no weird smell, and after a full day of wear I had NO ODOR! I couldn't believe it I've used it for a few days now with the same results. This product definitely works, it's easy to use, and it lasts all day as long as it was applied correctly from the start A word of advice: if you use it out of the shower and find your pits still smell, you didn't clean your pits properly. Most people don't scrub their underarms enough, they just put some soap on them quickly and let the water take the suds away. You gotta scrub them things!

This is the most effective deodorant I've ever used. I can apply it once a week without worries of failure. It's very gentle on the skin and has no odor or residue.

This has worked great for me for stopping any odor. You do have to start with clean armpits (even if that just means grabbing a washcloth and soap and cleaning them before applying). You also have to make sure to thoroughly apply to the whole armpit. If you miss spots you will notice. lol. It seems to genuinely last about 24hrs on me. Even through Florida in July and Oklahoma in August with 100+ temps for weeks.

If you want to ditch the aluminum filled, hormone disrupting deodorants, this is the way to go. you put it on as soon as you get out of the shower, and apply it liberally. I store it upside down so no water drains into the base. Wet it before using on each armpit and rinse it when you're done. It doesn't take a lot of water to make this work. My entire family of 4 uses it and one of these lasts us for about half the year. So this 2 pack will get us through the better part of a year. It is fragrance free, so if you want a scent I suggest finding or making your own essential oil blend to use. it doesn't stop you from sweating, and if you really get your sweat on you may start to have an odor, but for everyday use, this is more than enough and it stops you from smelling. It's easy to apply, and it works. It's also so much healthier for you. I will say that it works best on hairless armpits, so guys, you may have to think about trimming down those underarm bushes.

Works really well. Although it is unscented, there is no bad odor smell after a long day of work. Great value for the price!

I just recently swapped from traditional deodorant/antiperspirant. My naturopath said I was showing signs of heavy endocrine disruptors in my system so she recommended I swap out deodorants. I told my mom and it turned out she uses this one. I have not had any issues using it so far and it seems to work really well. I did read some of the results on how to apply it properly and agree, it needs to be wet for application. If it isn’t wet enough, then it doesn’t glide well and can be uncomfortable while putting it on. I don’t notice a smell for the actual product, and I haven’t noticed any body odor either since switching. Some days I have even forgotten to put it on and I still don’t stink. I still sweat normally and just did 3 full days of yard work without any smelly BO. It’s not sticky and it’s only wet when you put it on, you just have to let your armpits air dry after application. Sometimes if I’m in a hurry, I’ll use the blow dryer to dry off quicker. One of my friends mentioned she uses a different but similar product and has had some irritation from the salts, but I have not had any experience with that using this particular product. Would highly recommend if wanting to swap out deodorants. Don’t forget, you will need a detox period for your armpits from the traditional ones that have chemicals and aluminum in them.
