Got this camera to replace old one nice and easy to install,good instructions to install on to my phone, good quality picture in and at night best thing you can go to full colour a night,no subscription is required will be order another in the future

I replaced my older generation of Genbolt cameras which I gave to my brother when his property was being renovated.Installation:Installation is a breeze if using POE or you can use a POE to DC and Ethernet splitter both options work well.The provided template makes it a breeze to install with screws and Rawl plugs provided.Setup and ConfigurationConfiguration takes a couple of minutes using the mobile app to discover, change the default username and password, format SD card, set OSD, TimeZone and any alerts plus schedule.Image quality, features and usage:Micro SD card support, POE, night vision with IR is clear and can be further adjusted using brightness and contrast controls. PTZ is responsive. H265 codec saves tonnes of space infact a 128GB card can do 5 weeks of constant recording!Intelligent vision is very useful as it switches to full colour upon motion detection. You can setup three detection zones with different sensitivity levels but only using Internet Explorer which is my only gripe.Mobile AppMobile app is simple and intuitive to use. Watching previous recordings over 4G works fine with audio also recorded.Third party support:ONVIF support is present, which means I can view the cameras from my Android TV using TinyCam pro and also FTP support means recording can go to my Synology NAS or you can even use Synology DSCAM and further refine the motion detection areas.I'll be testing them with BlueIris at some point but for now, I'm very happy with the features and picture quality.All in all, I highly recommend these versatile cameras.

I have had this a good few months now and it is working very well. The quality of the camera is great , fairly easy to fit too. I managed to get the cables through the wall and hidden nicely by tucking them into the bracket including the unused POE connector. My only bugbear is the detection settings, I have tried all sorts to stop false alarms. It is set off so easily, the legs on my garden bench, a plant stand, moths and spiders webs.

I had been looking and looking at various cameras of this variety. This one stood out more as it had everything I needed... rotatable, great night vision, and very easy to use app.I am disabled so had to ask someone to fit it outside where I wanted it. I hadn't realised it needed an SD card until it was in on the wall, and wasn't sure where it went to figure if I could do it or needed someone else to do it. I decided to email the company to ask. They got back to me extremely quickly. With pictures and advice. I explained I'd be getting an SD card eventually, they actually went and sent me a 32GB one! I finally fit it, and emailed to ask how to set the recording (I'd done it I just needed to check it was right) and again they replied nearly straight away with a succinct and understandable method.As for the camera itself.. it has brilliant vision in both day and night mode. There are bright LED lights which are great when triggered at night. The control from the app is easy to understand and use. Someone said it had a 90's layout, I'm not sure what they meant but I find the app user-friendly and self explanatory.The camera has been battered by the winds recently and has offered only stable pictures and videos. The motion detection is spot on as is controlling it from the app. I can fully recommend this product. Not just for the product but for the continuing support from their tech team.

Fed up with battery powered competitor cameras I took a punt on this. Glad I did. It was a good price, easy set up (if you connect to router via LAN cable first) and works great. Power cable is decent length for getting it back indoors. The other cable glands are quite big but can easily be tucked up into a soffit. The quality of the images are excellent. The only criticism is the lense is not as wide angle as my previous one so imagery looks more zoomed in but only slightly. This would be solved by moving camera position rearward somehow but I don’t have space for that. Doesn’t come with SD card I bought a £8.99 one on Amazon. Overall very pleased.

I brought this to replace a similar camera that just decided it’d had enough. This is great camera with easy set up. The instructions are clear and once it’s set up it’s so easy to use via the app. The picture quality is superb and the night vision is amazing. I would definitely recommend this camera and it’s a great price too.

Very clear and well documented manual. In addition, the quality of the camera is at least as good as others that cost considerably more. Value for money I would give a 10/10The picture in this review was taken through glass so I expect even better results when mounted externally.When installed fully (in the next 7 days) I will post a further review under multiple weather conditions to compare quality of picture. The alarm feature is annoying but can be turned off and will serve a purpose during hours of darkness. Currently it is operating under wi fi with no problems with connection of some considerable distance to the router. It is planned to switch to POE before the winter sets in.If I could find any fault of significance it would be the lack of waterproof connectors to the wiring which is too short to go through11 inches of wall. To alleviate this I will use an amalgamation tape which is available at any decent tool store. I have installed a 128GB SD card which will remain even when and if I purchase a DVR. Future purchases will be of indoor cameras from GenBolt stable as I doubt I could do better in this price range and some distance above it.

I bought two of these GENBOLT GB213 Security Cameras for the outside of my property. I bought them as the advertised features were what I was looking for.When the cameras arrived, the cameras themselves look good. However, the Ethernet cable used to power the camera outside via a wired power over Ethernet (PoW) set up, was around 7 inches long. Now forgive me for maybe being a bit stupid here, but I don’t know if anyone who has a waterproof Ethernet socket fixed to the outside of the house…let alone at height where the cameras would be sited.Now some may say that the Ethernet cable is just for pairing the camera with the router, and the camera also comes with a DC power supply. Oh yes it does…. But the power supply is not waterproof/resistant so not fit to use outside. Also, I again don’t know of anyone with a three pin socket installed at height. I could run a power cable up to height and install a socket, not a problem… but still can’t plug in the DC power supply that comes with the camera, as it isn’t waterproof.Returned for refund. These cameras may be ok for inside use, but would be very bulky indoors.

Deze heb ik aangeschaft voor mijn buur, bij ons voor de deur geen auto inbraken meer sinds de onze hangt en dat wil de buurman ook! Goed beeldkwaliteit, ook in de nacht. Het aanslaan van de stevige lamp zorgt voor schrikreactie. Onze straat is veilig! Als je jezelf aanmeld bij de politie dat je een camera bezit mag je echt je stoep beveiligen! Dus ik zou zeggen doen!
