On the whole this was a great success for me. I largely opted for this one as it says it’s made in the UK.I had lots of skin tags of various vintage (ergo various sizes) on my neck, plus one on my upper thigh. I chose to order the small/medium Auto Tagband.It’s a compact little kit. The “pen” applicator appears to be well made and is easy to operate. The little blue band loading piece is quite delicate at the narrow end, so don’t go stabbing at the bands to pick them up - it will bend! There are full, clear instructions included. You are supposed to get a number of alcohol swabs to clean your skin before application, but these were missing from my kit. I didn’t bother complaining about this because I had isopropyl alcohol I could use on a cotton pad and just wanted to get going.For the larger tags on my neck and the one on my thigh, it worked like a dream and fairly quickly. The smaller tags took more time but eventually fell off.When it came to the teeny tiny tags however, the bands more often than not just slipped off really easily. Therefore it would be good if some slightly smaller bands were available. (I haven’t looked to see if there are any available yet).The stages of “ideal” skin tag removal I noticed were for the first few days-week I didn’t really notice anything. Then it would seem like the tag would get a little bigger. There would be a little pain if say, hair or clothing got caught (if this was problematic I covered the tag with a plaster). Pain would get worse then disappear and the tag would begin to gradually get harder and darker in colour. It would then eventually fall off, or be “encouraged” to fall off.(The pain I would describe as quite sharp and not constant - only if something came in to contact with the tag, or I turned my head (for the ones on my neck). Covering with a plaster until the pain stops is the best solution).After the tags fell off I applied a little Sudocrem or Savlon. There is usually a little redness and a slight bump but these eventually disappear. I haven’t experienced any scarring.Other than the missing swabs and need for smaller bands, I am so pleased I tried this. I have had to wear my hair down all the time for years and years, scared that other people would see my crop of skin tags. Now I can throw my hair up without a care.My mum was so impressed she asked me to use it on a tag she had on her neck, which was also successfully removed.Enlist help from another person to apply to hard to see/reach tags.

I had researched locally if I could get them removed and the cost - I was resigned to that as I couldn't see how anything else would work.I wish I had taken more photos, but I'm too proud to show how awful my neck looked.One we had been able to remove by tieing some sewing cotton around it very tight - my husband did that for me, as I couldn't have seen to do it. That worked but took longer.I also couldn't see to attach these little plastic discs - I think you could do it yourself, but I'll say in my defense my eyesight is not as it was :)Anyway getting to the point - for me this worked - it's removed 3 very ugly, unsightly and large skin tags. It has removed 2 smaller ones which fell off by themselves.They varied in time, but 2 changed colour within 2 days - the largest one has taken 6 days to come away.When those that hadn't fallen off, I pulled at the plastic and it came away.I'm left with 2 teeny ones that won't fit in the smallest size.To be honest I was skeptical, but for the price it's definitely worth a try before committing to a skin clinic appt.I did have some soreness, some red skin - only to be expected - I have used an antiseptic gel after and during.Would recommend and happy... Skin tags be gone!

This applicator was easy to use. But due to location (armpit) I've failed to get the band right up against my skin... So I already know I'll have a small tag/bump. I was too scared to an extra band on as other users suggested because the bands are a little wide, and I didn't want to hurt myself by adding another one as the gap isn't that big! It's been on for 3 days so far. The band hasn't fallen off yet but the tag is very dry, black, and shrunk to about 20% of its initial size. So I hope it won't take much longer!!!!Edit: Got impatient after 5 days of first putting it on as I want it off and ready to heal in time for upcoming event. After gentle twisting, 80% of the base came off easily and I could see the skin was already starting to heal over underneath. Twisted and pulled the last "strand" still attached, a bit of resistance and was sore lol but came off eventually. Only tiniest tiny speck of blood (blotted once with tissue, disinfected with alcohol, and it stopped). Looks fine. As expect there's a nun left because band wasn't flat against skin. So looks like a small skin coloured raise mole. Definitely recommend as looks way better than before. In future I'd put this on further in advance and would let it fall of naturally but was desperate this time so no regrets lol. Only thing is I wish there were more alcohol wipes. This is cheap to get elsewhere so it's fine but I think the box only came with a few wipes and I used them all up just making sure my single skin tag stayed clean over the 5 days... Wouldn't be enough for more than 1 skin tag or for longer than that

I bought this as I had a small but annoying skin tab on my forehead (great place for one I know) I have others but this is the only one that really bothered me and was occasionally causing discomfort.The applicator works amazingly well, but when putting the bands on 2 snapped before I realized that there was a tiny molding tab on the tool to put them onto it and was cutting them enough to break them, but after I filed this down it worked great.Once the band was on I discovered any rubbing (wiping sweat, wearing a hat, etc..) knocked the band out of place or even pulled it off completely making me have to put on another one, and I still haven't found the ones I had on when I went to bed or most of the ones that fell off during the days.This being said, and after a lot of faffing around... after a few days I noticed the skin tab was dried up and half of the base of it was black and it was causing much more discomfort so figuring it was dead (and maybe not being in the best of moods with all the effort it was taking and bands I was running through) I took a small pair of flat wire cutters to it and it came off easily and with no pain or bleeding, then after another day or so you couldn't even tell it was there to begin with.So did it work.. well kind of and for the most part, sure I guess it did... but do I just wish I'd cut it off to begin with and worn a plaster for a while without any of the hassle.. well kind of yes.

Whilst I know it tells you not to use it near the eyes, but I did! The skin tag was right at the 4mm maximum, and very visible. However I thought that as I wasn't going to be seeing anyone whilst in Coronavirus lockdown, it was a perfect opportunity! Very, very simple to use and painless at the time. After a couple of days, it became sore, but I think I may have rubbed it during the night. I would recommend putting a plaster over if possible, but obviously I couldn't! The tag seemed to grow as it became black, but on day 6 was distinctly smaller, then fell off that evening. The photo was taken at that point, so not even a scab... I bathed it with antiseptic liquid, when it was sore, to prevent infection. as I realised I was potentially creating a wound. Would I use it or recommend it? Yes! Yes! Yes! I'm in my 60s and have had this skin tag all my life, along with psoriasis which you can also see around my eye, and wish I had done this years ago. Just don't expect it to be completely painless, keep it clean and remember it isn't going to take that long.

I thought I’d add a review of my experience, I found it really helpful seeing what others had experienced, as they were all different.I’ve had my skin tag for as long as I can remember, the reason I’m wanted it removed is more for cosmetic reasons, it’s just ugly. Mine is on my neck.I found the device really easy to use, however it took me a couple of attempts to get the band right to the base of the skin tag, but once I got it on, I could feel how tight and secure it felt. Within the first day I saw the skin tag drying out & each day it was getting smaller. First picture is day one)I put the band on on Tuesday & by Friday the base of my skin tag has gone really red and inflamed, I’m unsure why & if that was meant to happen, but I just left it alone.I woke up this morning (Monday) and it was really sore and kept catching, so I gave it a little twist and it has come away. I have been left with an inflamed red lump (see second picture), it’s quite sore and a bit crusty (sorry 😂). The lump isn’t as big as the skin tag was, but it’s very noticeable. I’m hoping after a while it will calm down and go away eventually.I definitely recommend this product, it was easy to use & as far as I can see it has done its job!

After seeing the reviews I was expecting big things for this item. However I have been left rather disappointed.For ease of use I have no issues what so ever and in principle it's a well thought out piece of kit.Insert the adapter into the pen / plunger slide the band up and remove the adapter and it's ready to use.I have numerous skin tags under my arms, on my shoulder and the top of my leg that I just wanted to get rid of. With ten micro bands I set about dealing with the biggest offenders and within a short time the largest ones all hand a band on them.Now for the gross bit, a couple of the skin tags kind of popped within a few minutes releasing a small amount of puss which was kind of satisfying. Then within three days two of the skin tags had started to turn black and another had begun to discolour. There is some discomfort but not much more than when the skin tags rub.So all good until this point, so why two stars?Within a couple of hours of fitting the band's the one on the top of my leg had come off, never to be seen again. By the following morning one on my shoulder and one on my side had come off and by day four I had lost another three from my armpit. Not exactly a huge success rate. I bought the smallest bands available as I wouldn't consider my skin tags that big but they still came off. So far the band's have been less than 50% successful.

Bit of a mixed review this one. I like it and I don’t.So the bad bit first, it didn’t work on my tag. I can only assume that the plastic rings were too big as the theory of what this item does, should work. The plastic rings would attach but they looked too big for the tag and didn’t seem tight enough to stop the blood. I ordered the 2mm-4mm plastic rings but they still seemed to big for my tag, in the end, I ended up using some cotton string and tied that to the base of the tag and two days later it came off. If I’m totally honest the price isn’t too bad but I think it’s little expensive for what it is.Now for the good bits, fast delivery, good instructions, very very easy to use, I said about I tied string to my tag, for where it was, it was a nightmare to get the string on, this gadget was far easier to use and get the plastic ring on.So all in all, if your skin tag is big enough, this would be a great item.

I purchased the micro for small to medium tags and for the first 3 days felt I should have purchased the larger version. Instructions are simple and clear enough but the problem was getting the tag into the loading pen. I tried for 10-15 minutes the first two days without success and was getting frustrated but on the third day it suddenly worked and the band was on the tag. Using one hand I pulled on the tag, elongating it so that I could get the band down and as close to the skin as possible. After about 3 days the tag had become a disgusting black as the blood flow has been cut off and I'm just waiting now for it to fall off by itself. Painless and I would recommend.

Takes it off without bleeding and pain.It takes arround 10 days to fall off, so be patience :)
