Extends OK. Looks OK Is made of aluminum so hopefully this one won't rust out!. Have yet to use it on a golf course.

I would buy this again but in a shorter length like 18ft or 10ft
This retriever is very well built. I see it lasting a long time. I have retrieved 10 balls so far with in the first 3 outings. I am a new golfer and always looking through the woods and in water for the shots I hit. so its been a very handy tool in the golf bag. There are however some small issues with the retriever but they are a function of the retriever's success.1. It's heavy (but when it is extended to get a ball the handle does not bend).2. 21 feet is unnecessarily long. (I must say I have never had to extend it more than 10 feet to get a ball)3 . Fully retracted Compact the retriever is taller than your biggest driver in your bag. There is no hiding this retriever in a side pocket of your golf bag. Everyone knows you have it and the orange tip makes it obvious.

difficulty retrieving golf balls in water
The product was well made, if not a bit heavy so I was encouraged when it arrived. On a hard flat surface it worked well. However in water with typically muddy floor, three of us took turns attempting to retrieve balls and had very little success. The force needed to push the retriever over the ball so that it would lock on, usually pushed the ball into the mud so it was unretrievable. Bummer - sent it back

Awesome Retriever
This Retriever is very well made and easy to use. It has surpassed my expectations. Already paid for itself in successful long reach retrieved balls.

It is sturdy and well-made
My longest ball retriever, I only carry it in my golf bag when I know I will be playing a golf course with a lot of water/hazards, as it is heavier than my 18-foot retriever. It is sturdy and well-made, which is a positive feature after my previous two retrievers' heads snapped off. Guess I have more lost balls than the average player!

Ball Retriever
I've had this product for awhile now and although it works very well I have noticed that the sections do now always hold tightly as you have then extended. Regardless, I have gotten a lot of use out of this ball retriever.

Long golf ball trapper
Like the ball trap but the length is way longer then necessary so you might think of buying a shorter length. Product is great though.
