First alternator was binding on me. Returned it without an issue and got a new one within a week. I have an F350 with 3 batteries because I have tons of electronics. Instead of changing the existing wiring to thicker cable(which would be a pain in the butt), just add an extra run of 4 or 2 gauge from alternator to battery, then in between each battery. I also fused each line. Then also add a nice fat 2 gauge ground from the alternator bracket the a good solid grounding point on frame or body. Once I installed the new alternator I had 14.4 volts on all 3 batteries at idle.I was getting between 12.6 and 13 with the stock 130 amp alternator. I run 2 air ride compressors, a 5000 watt amp, 2000 watt amp, 3000 watt power inverter, and lights everywhere. This is just what the truck has needed. Great for the price. Hopefully I get a nice long run out of it. And also there was no core return. So I will always have the stock alternator to pop back in if I do have an issue. Thanks. If i could give it negative stars I would! Bought this alternator 11 months ago. not even a year. it just quit today and left me stranded. It also Killed my batteries. It never was 250 amps out of the box if anything it produced less amps then my old stock alt. I own an automotive repair shop and decided to gamble on a cheap alt to see if it would be worth it. ITS NOT just go to a actual parts store get somthing that's not going to leave you stranded after less then a year. or at least has a real waranty longer then 6 f*****g months like this pos does. I also contacted the company to try and get a replacement or refund ill update this if they actually do anything about it.

Came in daily matter was exactly what I wanted and so far is holding up just fine

The alternator fit with a slight modification to the base of the bracket to allow for the larger housing, however, the pulley was out of round 3 degrees in fact and caused a severe wabble when turning under load. I removed it and re-installed to original pulley

After less than a year and fewer than 5000 miles, this alternator has failed.A friend who has an alternator repair business says the quality of these is so poor he won't even open it up!!!I've asked the seller for a refund. We'll see, but I'm not holding my breath!Update...Lalectrical responded, "Unit comes with a six month warranty and is already out of warranty"Interesting verbage.Translation, "It's junk and we know it"Lesson learned, buy from reputable vendors.

It took two tries. First one had a broken mount. Second one seems to work just fine. Just a pain to have to wait until the first one was returned to get a refund. Having my truck down for two weeks really isn’t reasonable.

Nothing to review it didn't turn on the bench or on the truck. It just smoked my belt as soon as I started the engine. Refund had to be issued by Amazon due a delivery issue then it was worthless. Don't buy from them spend more money for a better product.
