Purepet Wet Cat Food For All Life Stages, Real Tuna and Chicken Liver in Gravy, 24 Pouches (24 x 70g)

I don't know why everyone is complaining about it. The smell wasn't that bad, I mean even if you make fish or chicken at home it does leave a weird smell behind. Pachaged wet food saves you from the hassle of buying non veg from the market and feeding it fresh to your cat, but obviously nothing can beat the taste and nutritional content of a fresh chicken in home cooked gravy.It's an Indian made product, priced slightly below the mainstream foreign cat food brands like whiskas and when I fed it to my cat, he loved it. He didn't show any finicky attitude while having it. Ofcourse, I used one pack for 2 meals. I mixed more than half with some homemade pumpkin and carrot gravy with curd for lunch and he loved it and licked his bowl to the last bit, which was a little unusual. I used the rest of the pack with the same gravy and a whole raw egg and fed it to him for dinner, he was a happy cat after that meal too. So I recommend it. Let's see how he acclimatises to the change in diet.

My Cat turns her face away from the food and she will start behaving like as if its a poop and try to cover the same. (Same behavior like when they cover up the excrement once they are done)The texture and smell is bad, its a complete waste.

I mix this gravy with dry dog food to make them acceptable to strays.What I do is I mix 2-3 different types of dry dog food kibbles (whatever is cheap, plus some small quantity of premium dog food with strong smell), open a packet of this gravy and make it runny by adding some water, and mix it with the kibbles.The neighborhood dogs love to gobble up the kibbles mixed with this gravy. Its 10 times more attractive to them than just dry kibbles. I guess its the strong scent that helps.I first tried the same with wet dog food gravy, but there are chunks in that so that doesn't mix very well with the kibbles. Plus the smell wasn't too attractive. But the wet cat food is paste like and grainy in texture, and coats the kibbles very well.

My cat doesn't like this wet food I have tried feeding them many a times but they doesn’t like it instead they like the whiskas wet food but they love the purepet dry food

This is an Indian product. For Rs.25/70 gms, it's a good deal. But you need to understand what your requirements are. Your cat will love it. Doesn't sick like Whiskas. But that is your cats choice. Some cats like stinky good.Whiskas is imported from Thailand. The food is designed to make stool solid, so it's easy to scoop in the cat litter. Most probably due to corn in the meal. Common additive in pet food.This Purepet looks to have more meat content, the food expands once exposed to air. Which makes your kitten/cat to have a pot belly. The stool is semi solid.But in the end I vary different food brands and flavour for my cat. Otherwise they get bored. Just like us. You wouldnt want to eat bread today every morning right :)

My Persian cat has been eating Origen and N&D dry food along with Whiskas wet food tuna jelly and chicken gravy. He has never shown any tantrums or discomfort when I shifted to a different brand of food like Drools or Whiskas.But when I tried the Purepet dry food and also the pure pet gravy food for him. He did not like any of them and all my money has literally gone waste. Even the stray cats are not liking it much.I suggest shoppers do not go for Purepet food as your pet might not like it. The smell of the food is also very strong and foul.I personally will never buy any product from Purepet brand again.
