This thing rules for the price point.
Was worried at first. The drive was not reading any discs I put in. I was about to return it but today after work it magically started reading them. If like me, you bought this to watch 3D Blurays on a projector, then this is a great deal. It reads BD -R 25/XL, and a neat feature is you can increase the 3D depth, which my projector could not natively. It also renders non 3D titles in 3D (although it's not the same. 100's of artists are paid to render titles so this is no surprise). I tested the 4K upscaling and can say it does it very well. For $50 I am very happy, and would recommend this. Also the wifi is stable and the streaming apps work. Thanks.

This unit sucks.
I have tried watching 3 movies on this player since I bought it. The first DVD worked no problem. The second DVD was jumpy. I tried a blu-ray disk and it wouldn't work. I played that same blu-ray in my PS4 and it worked. This unit sucks.
