In summary, it’s an excellent product. I have very little experience sharpening knives and was able to sharpen my knives with zero issues. I would highlight the following points:- If, like me, you want to avoid odd honing solutions getting into contact with your kitchen blades and being absorbed by their wooden handles, whetstones are a great option.- It does what it’s supposed to do - to sharpen blades - perfectly.- It covers an excellent grit range and comes with a leather strop for a nice finish.- The kit is well packaged and the box is sturdy enough so it can be used as the kit storage.- It comes with two stones to keep the sharpening stones leveled.- It comes with a jig for the blade angle.- The price is fair.

Excellent value for the price and product. I tried this knife sharpener with some skepticism, but after sharpening my first cooking knife it was sharpen like new.I tried all 4 grids, starting from #400, then #1000, followed by #3000 and #8000.Very impressed. Totally recommended

Excellent sharpening system. May take some patience in learning, but there are plenty of videos on how to. Puts a Sharp edge on anything that needs it.

Sharpening kit works well, but the sharpening stones are all mislabeled. The finest grit stone (blue) is marked #400 and the coarsest grit (red) is marked #8000. The other sides of each stone are also mislabeled. Traditionally, the higher the number the finer the grit. As others have noted, the strop is not leather and is absolute junk. Still, for the price, this is an excellent set of sharpening stones. If given the option, I’d give this set 4.5 stars.

This set really filled a need for sharpening both high and lower quality knives. Angle guide was useful and the quality was very good.

I would have given this five stars, but the strop is NOT leather. I find this to be deceptive and dishonest. That said, the stones are top quality. Compared to what I was using, this set is a dream. The size is good, the stands are sturdy and do not slip at all. The angle guide helps with the precision honing at the end when it is really important. I didn't care about the leather strop, but I did care too. It was not a selling point for me. It still burns me that it was NOT leather. Why include it at all? I won't ever use the one included. Please... It is literally made with plastic. Do I really want micro plastic particles finishing off my cutting edge? NO!!! That is the whole point of the strop being LEATHER~! If you really need a strop, invest in a leather one. Don't use this one. I already had a leather strop so not an issue, but what if someone else does not? There is way too much plastic already. Why do this?
