I bought this light for my son's room to activate fluorescent tapestries and stick on stars. It works REALLY well in a 130sqf room and I suspect it would work just as well in a room more than twice this size. If you are looking for true UV with very little visible light (at 365nm like the description says for this product) then you would probably want to get a different product because this one emits a lot of visible light. You can see evidence of the visible light in one of the pictures above that shows my hand's shadow cast upon the wall. I suspect the reason for this is the bluish white outline of the 365nm LEDs plus the fact that they're not filtered. However, if you simply want to activate fluorescents at their brightest then this unit is the ticket! The casing is well-built and heavy. The heat sink on the back is mostly the culprit for the weight but definitely a necessity because this bad boy gets rather hot! I would be mindful of where you mount it because of this. Overall I really like this product and am glad I did some research to find it for my purposes. You won't regret this purchase!

This product came highly recommended by a FB group I follow and it was well worth dollars spent It made all my fluorescent decorations pop & extremely satisfied. I will buy another next year

This was so bright and lit up my Halloween Decorations more than I expected. Such a great deal and product.

Good black light should have very minimum visible light. This one emits too much visible white light even though it is specified as 365 nm UV. Had to return and got florescent UV. As far as visible light leak, this LED light is way worse than a florescent counter part.Positive note: UV brightness of this light is powerful if you don't mind the visible light leak.

I have purchase and returned $70 to over $400 in individual curing lights over the past month. With this light I can cure a 10” x 30” space in under 4-5 minutes from 2-3” away. My only wish is that it had rechargeable battery operated vs corded. Super fast curing time. Made well and solid construction and durability.UPDATE: I have since purchased a second of this 365nm light and used camera ball joints and an arm to connect them and then an extended camera handle making it a single handheld component system and covering 2x the area. Cutting the curing time down to about 2 minutes with the 120° reflection angle.Second update: now expanded to a quick release tripod.

If you are looking for a Black Light that has low visible light and just 365 nm light ... keep looking. It gives off much more visible light than any other Black Light I own. I'm sure it has some 365 nm LEDs in there but also has lots of very visible light-purple wavelengths as well. Use this if you need people to see the environment clearly. Don't use it if you are looking for a true 365 (only) bulb. I paid more because this is what they description suggests. Not even close to true.

I have a lot of UV reactive rocks and gems.I was using a 2' tube and a smaller a smaller LED lamp setup up together.I like the NM's on this one so I decided what the heck, can only help and I'm so VERY glad that I bought this.I highly recommend it for you UV needs!

It gets a little hot when it's been on a long time. Will need an extension cord. But it did a great job of illuminating the room for our department Halloween party. It was a hit. I plan to use it again next year.

The media could not be loaded.  I had to chose between two wave length, 365nm or 395nm. Both gives good result with some difference.The 395 appear stronger because it flood the area with some amount of visible light. It’s a deep blue color. The 395nm will not illuminate stuff that are manufactured to “glow in the dark”.The 365nm will project some amount of visible light but much less. On the other hand, the spider web in the left corner will “glow” and it is a “glow in the dark object” that would not reflect any light under 395nm.For me, the 395 was to strong in the visible light spectrum.Many mentioned it overheat and become really hot, for me it's not an issue, after 8 hours it was warm but not hot.It's a good product, solid, well designed and worth buying at 50w.I used Crayola Neon Chalk for drawings.

Starkt och kraftigt ljus för starkt för ett litet rum faktiskt om man inte placerar den så man ser den då kan det funka.

Worked great for my Halloween prop, gave off enough light shame the cable couldn't be longer.

HOEWEL HET TOESTEL GOED WERKTE WAS IK TOCH BEHOORLIJK ONTEVREDEN OVER DE REELE LICHTSTERKTE (50 WATT ZOU TOCH WAT MEER MOGEN GEVEN).Bovendien gaf het niet hetzelfde resultaat op mijn fluorescente mineralen als mijn (veel kleinere) UV torches van 10 W met zwarte filter die precies 365 nm LW uitstralen.Of het bij deze Everbeam wel degelijk het geval is betwijfel ik (en mijn collega's) echter.

Die Lampe kam schnell und ordentlich verpackt an. Sie erfüllt den Zweck einen kleinen bis mittleren Raum in Black Light zu tauchen. Das Gute, man braucht keine Glühbirnen auszuwechseln , da über den Stecker flexibel einsatzbereit. Wir waren absolut zufrieden, die nächste Party kann steigen....!
