ITS AMAZING!!!I've owned hats before but I always shied away from the more expensive ones because I honestly didn't think there was to much of a difference in them. Well I was wrong. Good God I was wrong.The hat is amazing, the fit...exceptional, the color is perfect. It's not a dark gray or light gray but like a sharkskin or weathered granite color.Soft to the touch but firm and holds it shape.....man oh man I'm so pleased with this purchase and yes it does come in the Stetson box and it was very properly packaged.Shout out to DONNA at FashionHats.She answered all my questions and was dead on. It fit perfectly. Now as for why it's going to ruin my life.....well now the others feel just like that, others.Now the question is shall I eat crackers and drink water for the month to get another on in another color......its a slippery slope ladies and gents.

This is not my first fedora purchase but it is my first non wool real rabbit felt fedora and my first Stetson!I was very impressed with the packaging. Box sent with it is perfect size. Also received a Stetson hat box inside of that with the beautiful hat itself inside of that.Let me begin with the Chatham itself. Its appearance and texture is silky smooth and very firm (not floppy and cheap feeling or looking).I have worn this hat every single day since I bought it.The liner inside it very nice looking.The sweat band feels nice and isn't troublesome as others have written.The color Caribou is a darker gray and in my opinion nicer looking than the lighter grays you normally see.The band looks a little looser than I would like but doesnt take away from the overall appearance.This hat has never left my head cold and it is always comfy.This hat has never been too warm eitherThis being my first Stetson and non wool fedora purchase was a pleasure and definitely will not be my last. I plan on buying it in sage and probably even black.If you are on the fence I would suggest just taking the plunge. This truly is a premium solid hat and is well worth the money spent. You will be very pleased.I have attached a few pictures so that you can see it in different lighting and angles. I wish I had more pictures to go on before my purchase as the stock photo's all of these sites use do not do the product any justice in my opinion.

I love the fit, style and quality of Stetson hats. Had 2 hats for years now and wanted some different colors. By having sizes by numbers (71/4) instead of large makes it much better to know you are getting the size that will fit. The inside lining also makes it an exceptional hat which many hats have no lining. Expensive but worth every bit of the cost.

I absolutely love this hat. I made the mistake of ordering the wrong size. That was my fault. I was going off of the size of my winter BDU cap from when I was in the military, but I completely forgot that the winter caps always run large because they have ear flaps inside that can be pulled out in extreme conditions. Stupid me.Anyway, I picked up some size spacers for this hat, and it now fits like a champ. It is a great shape and looks great. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice hat. I will be ordering one or two more in a different color. I am definitely going to order one in the Caribou color.

The stetson was shoved into a small box and the creases (see picture) make it unwearable. The product description says it will be sent in a stetson box. Other reviews from several years ago also complain about the creases from the small box. I sent it back and would hope that this false advertising will come to an end. For regular hat wearers this was beyond unacceptable. This is a very unreliable source for good hats. In the pictures attached the brown hat next to the damaged grey hat is also a new chatham (from a different source) and this is what the hat should look like when it arrives.

In one sentence, I love this hat.I replaced a twenty year old fedora with this. Some people bash Stetson, but, I am impressed with the quality of this hat and the fit is perfect. I own lots of hats and knew exactly what size to order and it is exactly what I expected. Mine is 7 1/8 and it is wonderful. I also wanted the snap brim and "Mink" color. That, too, is perfect.
