Absolutely ideal for newbies like me who are learning the ropes of gong fu cha. The white colour lets you fully enjoy the colour of your steeps throughout. I chose this set over others because it included a cha hai, aka the "equality cup", a pitcher you can pour your tea into so that every guest enjoys a brew of the same strength. The only critique I would have is that the bamboo board is a little smaller than I'd expected, especially if you want to serve four people and have a teapet there too, but I suppose this is a travel-size set so that is fair enough. Overall I'm having a great experience with this set, and am happy I chose this one as my very first one!

A lovely little tea set, good value for the price. It's a bit small which doenst bother me, but might not be great for other people. Good idea to get, if your looking at geting into tea, as you go on you might want to invest in a higher quality long term tea set. But great for beginners or if buying for a friend. Personally very happy, especially for the price.

Bought it as a gift, sorely tempted to buy myself one as well but I already have several portable kits purchased in China. This compares well with Chinese domestic kits. This is the ideal beginners kit, contains everything other than tea and water!

I love it! The teapot doesn’t hold a lot but you are able to fill each of the cups once. Really pretty and the tea stays warm! Only downside was the case it came in was stained. But everything else is perfect!

It is the best set in this price range perfect for gongfu sessions . My one arrived with no damage however I know why people receive faulty ones.The reason is, wooden spoon and tongs are in between plastic tray,during transit can cause damage. Beside that great set .

It was to small and not fit for any kind of use as far as I was concerned mouthful of tea if you lucky sent back for a refund

Second purchased item, after returning the first. Both have a cracked tray. Have no confidence the third or more delivery will not have the same issue, so will fix the tray with resting myself. Would be solved by not putting the utensils in between the wooden and plastic parts of the tray.

The delivery and packaging was great. There were no issues with the product. The product looks and feels great. I can’t wait to use this set.

Awful quality. Everything is made very cheaply. Spouts designed poorly and tea dribbles out the side. Very messy. Cannot understand the hundreds of 5 star reviews. Surely these people bought it for decorative purposes because this is not a functioning tea set. I will be buying something better as soon as I can.
