Really Cool, Great For Kids
This thing is really, really cool. I got it for my daughter and I to play around with. We just use to look at random stuff and see what it looks like. Some things might surprise you. You have to use you phones zoom to get a really high magnification picture, and it can be difficult to see things due to the fact that you have to be a certain distance from the thing you’re looking at and it’s hard to hold the phone still while you’re doing it.If you have kids, they’re gonna love this thing. It’s just such a neat little tool for playing around with for fun or even serious projects. I was surprised by how well it zoomed. I have an iPhone XR and it did take a bit of adjustment to get it on just right, and my case, an Otterbox Defender, is a little too big to work correctly with this. But with the case off it fits and works well. My daughters iPhone 12 Pro Max has a smaller case and it fits much better with the case on. But due to how her cameras work together, it was useless past 2.5x zoom. All you’d see was a blob.I’ve only had it for a few hours, but so far my assessment of this magnifier is it’s a little on the expensive side. But worth it if you want to use it for fun or serious projects. I don’t like having my phone out of its case. So that’s a drawback for me. But I could probably buy a cheap case for use with this. This has a built in ring light with rechargeable battery. Battery came out of the box completely drained. Took a couple hours to charge. I left it sit for about 2 hours and it was done when I got back.I might add some pics to my review later. Like I said, it’s kinda tough to get a steady image and I want to try and get some good pics. If you have a Pixel or a phone with a really good camera, the images will probably look incredible. My XR, the pics look ok at best when zoomed in fully.

A must have to check out trichomes!!
IN my first grow I was using a jeweler's magnifier to monitor the trichomes for color changes. The view with the jeweler's scope just wasn't working well for my tired old eyes. I saw this microscope attachment for cell phones and figured it to be worth a try. I found it to be THE BEST tool for micro photos of the fabulous trichomes and I couldn't be happier with the product and the results. Just attach to your cell phone, turn on the "microscope" and the phone camera and simply move the phone in and out while watching the phone's screen. I also record video so I can review the progress across all of the plants. This is exactly what I needed, performs exactly as described and is one of the easiest to use cell phone attachments I have ever purchased. I am PUMPED about the performance of the attachment and, as you can see in the photos, you get fantastic micro close-up photos!

Doesn’t work
This hasn’t worked for me at all, unclear and light just flashbangs the lense constantly so even if I did get it in focus any lighting I tried didn’t work. Then you had to fight with actually centering it and the phone not automatically switching to your other camera because it senses the closeness. 0/5 if possible

Turns the "WARNING" on a Bic lighter sticker from normal to a full screen N...
Good little toy, easy to slip on a phone...Works on the front camera too, but would be better if it had a glass plate at the focal length to set stuff on so you can see it with your eyes while it's being magnified and whatnot, imo.Sliding Cover protects the lens on the outgoing side, but the lens on the phone side is unprotected...I printed a small 3d printed case that works good to keep it from collecting dust...Yay for $0.18 3d printed cases...Boo for lazy businessmen not bothering to do their best.Image quality is good if it's got a fairly flat/even plane to focus on.Magnification level...Turns the "WARNING" on a Bic lighter sticker from normal to a full screen N... then you can digital zoom further with the phone.Solid built... has soft rubber/plastic on the part that touches your screen so it doesn't scratch it.LED sits where it covers my phone's LED, and is kinda dim in comparison... bright enough though...And it doesn't eat your phone's battery up since it has its' own rechargeable battery pack.

good for stationary photos
this does get clear close ups slightly better than with my iPhone 15 alone, but requires A LOT of fiddling to get it situated correctly on the camera and has a very small/narrow focal field - usable for stationary macro photography, but a struggle for any moving objects. I find it’s nice for macro photography, like a pinecone or moss while on a walk, but very hard to use for trying to take pictures of my Neocaridina shrimp

Well worth the price
Performs as needed. Image quality is very good. I do recommend a tripod, at this magnification the tiniest of numbs ruins your shot.

NOT 100x--10x at most
This is not a microscope; this is a magnifying glass with a ring light and probably about 6x magnification, definitely no more than 10x. I bought two Carson brand compact microscopes at the same time, one with a 60-120x range, the other with a 100-250x range, and they were consistent with each other when set to 100x, but vastly more powerful than this one; see photos.I needed 100x, so I returned it. But if you need less, this might be a good tool for you. I found it easy to position on my Samsung Galaxy S10 with Spigen liquid air armor case, and the image fills the whole screen instead of just a tiny circle, like what the compact microscopes with phone attachments do. There's no mechanical focus adjustment, but the phone camera does a pretty good job of focusing. You can use the camera's optical zoom to increase the magnification somewhat, though it becomes hard to hold it steady at just the right focal distance when you do that. I experimented with a couple of adjustable screw jacks to try to get two platforms of exactly the right respective heights, one for the phone and the other for the object being examined, but gave up. One other factor in favor of ease of use is that, because it's not a real microscope with mirrors and multiple lenses, it doesn't flip your image upside down. So if the thing you're looking at is half out of your field of view to the left, you can just move the camera left, or the object right, to center it, instead of having to remind yourself to do the counterintuitive thing of moving it the opposite way you want the image to go.

Low Quality ON/Off. Faible qualité On/Off DEL LIGHT
