The Honest KitchenHuman Grade Wet Dog Food

I checked out all the different varieties of the Honest Kitchen Butcher's Block pate. The turkey, chicken, and duck all have around 343-379 calories per 10.5 oz. box. The beef/lamb has 298 and the beef/cheddar has the lowest calories at 274 for an entire box. On their feeding chart it says for a 10 pound dog, they could either eat an entire box of the beef a day or 3/4 a box of the others a day. I chose the beef but still only give 3/4 a box because he's also getting some calories from Greenies pill pockets as he's on daily medication.I like Honest Kitchen as they have a good reputation, healthy ingredients, and my dog likes their food. My dog is actually a Chihuahua and he's currently almost 16 pounds but the goal is to get down to 10 pounds or at least under 12 pounds. I tried to get him to lose weight by just eliminating people food but he just makes up for it by eating more dog food and also getting into the cat's food. I've had to get more careful as I can't leave any food out that he can get into and measure his meals carefully.He has a heart condition and is taking Vetmedin, Furosemide, + a heart supplement. Also, on 1/1/2024 he accidently twisted one of his back legs and now has a ACL injury and is limping. I honestly don't think that would have happened if he wasn't obese. So, that was really a wake up call in that I can't be passive in helping him lose weight. So anyway, yup, we're on the Honest Kitchen diet plan.

it's wonderful food I have a 4 month old puppy that was feed some people food without my ok and trying to get him back on a proper dog diet has been difficult so I thought I would try some human grade wet food and he loves it with this food I have been able to get him interested I'm his food again I mix it with eukanuba small breed puppy dry dog food and I've never seen him more excited to eat and I know that it is healthy for him the ingredients speak for themselves I would highly recommend especially if you have a picky eater great food great ingredients great price I will be definitely be purchasing again

Would recommend this. Per serving, it's a bit pricey for us but not beyond the going rate for human grade dog food these days (we're just cheap). This really is a good product and we will definitely order again as a special treat in the future. I'm not 100% sure if this is true or not, but we've heard this company only uses data from volunteer dogs who try the food out in a home setting and not data from confined animals in a testing lab like most pet food companies rely on. If so, this gives their product even more worth in our opinion.

I use this for when my dog needs meds or need to be motivated to let me do something to him like administer ear/eye drops. He’s obsessed with it!

I use this product to give my dog her medication which she will not take unless I cover her with honest kitchen, beef pate. I also warm it up before I give it to her. She takes her pills with no problems.

My doggie has ZERO complaints! She absolutely loves this stuff and I love that I can order it here for less than it sells in stores.

No complaints. One of my dogs has food sensitivity but this product doesn’t give him the runs and the plus is it’s a good amount of food to it
