Blondo Women's Elvina Waterproof Ankle Bootie

I wore this boot in NYC during some rain, walking all day, and just as my go to shoe to be able to have a nicer look. I read the reviews and people said to go up a size. I do that with my athletic shoes, so I did and the size was right. I wore socks with them; I have a narrow foot and long toes. Because it was up a half size it was a great fit. I had been concerned about the pointy toe and comfort. They worked. I like the height up the leg too. I bought Dr Scholl's inserts for heels (2"+) for added comfort for me since I have bony feet :-). I had also tried the Blondo Villa. I liked the cushy comfort in that shoe better which gave me the idea to add insoles. I didn't like the lower height of the Villa since I have skinny ankles and it looked like too much space on my leg and if I stepped in a puddle I wanted more protection. That's just me. I should also mention I had injured my lower back and so I was concerned about heel height and comfort and it was a really good shoe, I walked a lot. I wore it almost all the time (my other shoes were athletic types) and still wear them in CA during our chilly and rainy days. I would have given it a 5 if it had the extra padding in the sole like the Villas; otherwise, I love the shoe and it is very stylish and you can dress it up or down. Glad I bought them; met my needs of style, fit, comfort and waterproof which was the main reason I was shopping Blondo to begin with. Their leather waterproof works.

I have just received these shoes today for a trip to London in a few weeks. I can't say anything to how they feel after miles of walking, but I did want to give you my opinion on sizing. I originally purchased a size 8, which is the size I typically wear in a boot (7.5 in anything else). I have now purchased a size 8.5. The shoe is narrow as others have mentioned and I didn't have room to wiggle my toes around in the 8, which I knew would drive me crazy and eventually kill my feet. So, my recommendation is to size up, whether by a half or whole size.Also, helpful tip: check the other lower priced options. I ordered these for less than $25, from the Amazon warehouse in "used - good" condition. These things have never been worn. No scratches, no worn tread. I may have gotten lucky, but if you want to save a chuck of cash, it was worth a shot for me.

I am a big fan of Blondo boots since they are stylish while also being waterproof. I have several styles and these did not disappoint. I found that the tip was more pointed than they appeared in the image but I did not mind. The heel makes it a little fancier without sacrificing comfort. I always go half a size up because Blondo seems to run small.

As a flight attendant I am all about traveling with items that serve a duel purpose and these boots are perfect for on and off duty wear. This is my second purchase from this seller and both times they are in excellent condition. They definitely keep the rain out and keep my feet comfy during my long days of flying. They are stylish enough I can wear on my layovers when I go out and explore. I have received a lot of compliments. I am a solid 8 with a wider foot and the 8 fits perfectly.

I ordered these for a trip to a snowy location and because of the Polar Vortex, they didn't arrive until the day before the trip. I gambled and brought these as my only shoes and could not be happier. They are incredibly stylish and durable - I must've walked 40 miles in 5 days in snow/sleet/frozen rain and they look good as new. My feet never got wet or cold. My typical shoe size is a 10.5 so I ordered 11 based on other reviews which is perfect with thick socks. Would highly recommend these!

I ordered a size 9 which is my usual size but these are too tight in heels and toes (weirdly another pair of size 9 blondos were too big, so their sizing is very off). They also had some scratches and marks on them already so not in the best condition.

Wow... I was thrilled as I took them out of the box and even moreso when I tried them on. They are extremely comfortable! I haven't worn them in wet weather yet, but I usually find other reviews truthful and people say they are definitely waterproof, so I can't wait to test them out! --- But they're so good looking, I'm not waiting for the rain to wear them! These are awesome to wear in Vancouver, BC weather - it rains. A lot. The only thing is I wish I sized up a 1/2 a size to give a little extra room. My feet are a tad cramped in my normal 6.5. Otherwise, i would've given them 5 stars.

The boots are very comfortable mainly due to the inside warm lining and block heels.Front looks too pointy and for that reason might not go well with flared pants.Its perfect with tapered pants or tights though.

Have had these over a year now and they have definitely been a staple in my wardrobe. I live in a rainy city and they are waterproof (or very resistant) and have a warm and comfortable lining inside. They are a bit tight at first, but will stretch out over time. Very sleek and basic, great quality for the price.

I have wide feet and a wide ankle most time I have difficulty zipping up anything, this was just right, very comfortable, best of all wore it in the snow and kept my feel warm and dry. Truly happy
