I actually use this for lighting when I perform, we are an acoustic duo so tend to play in small corners at small venues and this is perfect for a colour wash on the wall behind us, it gives a great amount of light and colour for the size and price, could just do with a longer power lead but nothing and extension cord can’t fix! If you’re planning on this for a sensory light then you’ll want to make sure the person it’s for isn’t looking directly at the light as it’s very bright. We pop it behind our mixer at about a 45 degree angle to the wall so the colour washes up the wall, then we use the slow colour change which is subtle and could be quite nice and relaxing from a sensory pint of view. As a sensory light you definitely want to tuck it away behind something so the brightness of the bar itself isn’t uncomfortable.

Compact wall wash light strip, remote controlled for colours, fades, strobes etc as you would expect. Nicely made, note one remote will simultaneously operate several units at the same time and they then work in unison which really looks impressive. Nice and bright too.

Such a good light! Really happy with it. We had a garden party but used it in the kitchen for ambience and it looked great. Lots of different settings for the colour and sequence of colour change (or can be set to 1 colour). Can’t wait to try it in the Garden too.

These are cheap but for what they cost they are very good value and well made. To get a pair of IP66 rated outdoor lights for under £40 you can't knock the value. They are bright and have quite a few different fade, colour and flash options. They don't have DMX control, Master slave control or Sound to light but the remote gives you plenty of options. Would have been better with at least a sound to light opton.

Bought this for my Dj booth. Initially thought it would be too small and not do the job, but it lights up behind my scrim fantasticly with an array of colour washes! Great variety of colours and programs powered by a remote from anywhere in the room. Only negative is that the power lead could be slightly longer but above all a great piece of kit for under £25!

I haven’t decided whether to keep these or not yet. I play in a band and bought two of these to supplement our stage lighting (4 sound to light led spots on stands) for pub gigs. For the money they are very good, and I ran them for 4 hours last night without issue. Good points - Good build quality although the housing is plastic not aluminium. - They remember the last setting when switched off, so if you forget the remote they will still work on the last setting, that’s good. - Nice and bright, but see below Bad points - Only 1 metre of cable. Would have preferred an IEC power socket but these are budget lights. - Remote controls are unresponsive (even with new batteries); sometimes they work from a few metres away, other times they need to be held almost touching the lights to work. Both remotes work both lights so that means I have a spare remote. But it also means you can’t adjust one light without changing the other. - No way of switching the lights without a remote, but see above. - Lights are perhaps too bright for small pub stage use unless hidden behind something to wash a wall. And, in flash or smooth modes the dimming buttons don’t work. If you dim the LEDs first, and then switch to flash or smooth, they go back to full brightness. That’s not good. - Get quite warm after a while but not too hot to touch so probably ok. - When cycling on smooth, the light is mostly white and pale yellow and pale blue. Primary RGB colours are not cycled often or long enough. Overall effect onstage is of predominantly white lights. In summary decent lights but with limited flexibility reflected in the low price.
